i've got to resurrect this thread...hope you guys still watch the show. if not, that's too bad. i think that the series is getting better and better.

 

hey guys, what do you think about the recent plot development?

 

Dean is supposed to die at the end of the season. In previous episodes, he doesn't seem to care if he goes to hell. But in episodes 9 and 10, he realized that those who go to hell eventually become demons. Dean seems terrified of this idea, so he said that he didn't want to die.

i'm obsessed with this show.

 

we're a bit far behind in germany. so i'm downloading all the episodes from the fourth season as soon as they appear on the internet (i caught up with the american viewers).

 

i don't know what's so addictive about this show. it's just got the perfect mixture: drama, horror, sexy actors, fun. and the music! i love the music! :)

 

and the impala!

aaaaah. i hate fangirling like this, but anyone who hasn't seen it yet, HAS to watch it!

 

p.s. does anyone love the bloopers on youtube as much as i do?!

You know, the producers of Supernatural know what songs to pick for their episodes. They pick songs that go with the characters, theme and storyline of the show. That is something I like.

WHAT. AN. EPISODE.

 

i enjoyed it so much.

it had its funny moments, but most of the time it just gave us a glimpse of what childhood was like for poor little sammy who just wanted to be normal.

 

hehe, i had tears in my eyes several times and i loved the way they showed what high school is like and that there is a time after school and that life doesn't revolve around school and youth. however, it also showed the many facets of a human being (dirk) and how we might have an impact on other people's lives without even knowing (if sam had known that dirk had lost his mum just like he had, he would have never insulted him in any way).

 

great episode with lots of hidden messages and a tad of social criticism.

 

 

also, i am sooo curious to know how this season is going to end.

maybe sam is one of the 66 seals?

maybe he is lucifer?

if it boils down to the fact that sam is evil, the viewers will certainly feel sorry for him because he has shown more emotions than dean throughout the entire series.

 

where are all the other supernatural fanatics?

this thread is in dying need of some discussion.

Supernatural producer died this weekend from complications from lung cancer.

 

Manners put his touch on Supernatural.

 

 

The sci-fi world lost one of its best this weekend. Kim Manners, producer of The X-Files and Supernatural passed away on January 25 in Los Angeles after a battle with lung cancer. He was 58.

Manners made his mark in the science-fiction genre with his work on The X-Files, serving as producer on the landmark series from 1995 to the show's conclusion in 2002. His most recent work came as producer and director on The CW's Supernatural, even helming the episode "Family Remains," which aired just a few weeks ago.

It wasn't a strict diet of sci-fi for Manners. He also directed episodes of programs such as 21 Jump Street, Simon & Simon, Charlie's Angels, and even Baywatch.

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke released this statement regarding Manner's passing: "Everyone at Supernatural is walking around in a daze, shocked and absolutely devastated. Kim was a brilliant director; more than that, he was a mentor and friend. He was one of the patriarchs of the family, and we miss him desperately. He gave so much to Supernatural, and everything we do on the show, now and forever, is in memory of him."
