bahhh l wish they made ALL of their songs on the cd into singles/videos...but that would take forever :o :roll:

how can anybody possibly know it's going to come out? they haven't even started recording it yet. (that we know of) for all we know they might go into a studio and end up banging out an album in two weeks and having it out in within 7 or 8 months. the point is nobody knows when their next album will be out this early.

im kinda scared for the lads at the moment - what they r going through has strong similarities to what Radiohead went through with OK Computer - they have produced the most widely respected "serious" album of last year and now they r going to flog it with a massive tour schedule and a very long time before another album release. i just hope the lads can take it - it very nearly destroyed RH, and it can lead to both the band and the fans becoming jaded. i find it all quite scary - i really hope they can bridge the gap for fan interest by release of a live dvd or something :sad:

differences being that radiohead were always sort of jaded toward the music industry and that Ok Computer actually lived up to its own hype. :P

Hmm, yeah, I think one of the reasons they are releasing gpasoyf is because Chris stated in an interview somewhere that it was like one of the band's fave songs on arobtth. I knew Warning Sign wasn't going to be released, as Chris had also stated he didn't even want it on the album and it's one of the songs he doesn't like.

I cant really believe some peoples reactions, 2005 isnt that long, not album wise...

 

But we are talking about Coldplay. Its the same with any band though, if you want the same lyrics from the same perspective then take your albums that are written in a year just so the band can get some money, and listen to your incensere albums (Im thinkin, Blink 182). But if you want a proper good album, not just one that is another album, you'll have to be patient for 2.5-3.5 years.
