June 2, 200620 yr I'm about to register with iTunes but I need to enter credit card details - does it actually cost anything to join, or are you only charged for the congs you buy?
June 2, 200620 yr I was never charged, for all I know it's free. But you do have to pay for the songs that you get through the itunes store. If you upload a CD, it's free.
June 2, 200620 yr Author What do you mean upload a CD? Well, I know what that means, but what do you get free if you upload a CD?
June 2, 200620 yr Well, what I meant was... like, say you have a CD that you bought from a music store near you. Then you wanted it on your ipod, you can upload it onto your itunes library, but that's free (since you already bought the album). You don't have to pay to upload a physical CD. But if you buy one through the music store on itunes, then you have to pay. Sorry, hope that was a bit more clear ;)

By the way loving the cheeky smile, that dress you're wearing really brings out your eyes.

(a sickly virus or a dodgy file) --the credit card info is just so that you can facilitate your purchasing experience when you choose to buy a song or an album thru their music store. If you import a cd onto your iTunes library.. its totally free.. (i.e.-adding a cd you physically own onto iTunes so you can add it to your iPod.) ;) hope that helped! x
April 20, 200818 yr :stunned: it may be is free in some countries...but i just had downloaded it, just installed it and so the first welcome screen says: enjoy music for just 99cent per track... is not free :stunned: (the iTunes Store). :censored: Btw i had to download it twice, as the first one said it was a version differnet to my current OS :stunned: (i have Vista, and i downloaded Vista version first ) what f****g windown OS does my laptop has? :uhoh: is not the first time that i have problems when downloading or installing something with this laptop.. for linux OS it says that i have no hard-disk :o...
April 22, 200818 yr You should have refused Vista and got XP put onto the machine. It's got to a point in the UK, the main educational body doesn't recommend Vista for schools as it is based towards business and not eduaction.
April 22, 200818 yr You should have refused Vista and got XP put onto the machine. It's got to a point in the UK, the main educational body doesn't recommend Vista for schools as it is based towards business and not eduaction. all machines when i bought it, are ready just and only for vista (it installs itself once you turn on the laptop for first time...), there was no XP option. anyways i also get to have installed Wibu :D i think that since this summer i will only use it (Linux OS), i have to use windows now, for uni, but once i'll finish it.. bye bye Windows. anyways the main problem is that the iTunes does have fees... bad bad.
February 15, 200917 yr I wonder how long until iTunes increases the charges for the UK from 79p (against €.99) to make it more equal since the pound's collapse against the euro.
February 15, 200917 yr You said you wanted random threads bumped to kill off the "i'm sorry" thread from 03 :P
