I looked around and could not find a thread for this so here it is.

 

I watched the French Open to day and man was it intense. I was rooting for Nadel and he won and I was very excided:D . So did any one else watch the French Open?

I'm french.and i've heard about it.as i play tennis i like to watch tennis matches.

He's the king of R.G. tournament!!

well roger federer is not bad...and yesterday, Henin Hardenne wins too.she's amazing...5 years ago, never heard of her...and now she 's one of the best 10 tennis women (the 5th)...

Both finals were anti-climaxes, as is often the case. Both Federer and Kuznetsova fell apart. Some of the earlier matches were far more exciting.

Well I have to say I enjoyed this one.

i used to dislike roger, but he's really grown on me lately. it's strange.

aw i'm so glad nadal won, the way he collapsed to the floor and got red dirt all over his back and arms :nice: haha he was so blown away. good on him.

i like both Rafael and Roger, Roger is so calm and collected and he

is very graceful on the court. Nadal bring energy and is really exciting to watch!

 

Boy how i miss paytv-- they don't show the French Open here :(

Only got to see a flicker of the match on the Spanish news this morning, but they showed him going around Paris with his trophey, later it was a party (Amoldovar was there! ) Nadal looks damn fine in a suit.

 

btw doesn't Nadal remind you of Atreyu from the never ending story?

Yeah and than after he went up into the stands and huged his family and friends.

In the year books for school this year, they had a picture of Federer. I thought hmm....I wounder why they him in there instead of Nadal.

yesss that was sooo cute. i love it when players are actually genuinely so emotional about winning. some people just do the whole bravado thing which annoys me, but the way nadal went and hugged his family in the stands, it was such a lovely moment :nice:

Well I think they did, because he was so good in the other matchs, but I would of liked to see Nadal instead. Maybe next year.;)

Like when Roddick won the US open....he went to hug his family in the stands....i really hope he comes back on form.
