June 12, 200620 yr It was an amazing day all round, I arrived Sunday morning full of anticipation (and worry) as I was picking my tickets up from the box office (which I'd won in the comp), we went to the reception to be told we needed to go to the vip entrance(ooh err), so we walked back around and there was an envelope waiting for me there with the lovely blue guest wrist bands inside. We then went for a wonder and soon realised we were behind the stage and there were guest bars and thankfully decent toilets inside the resturant/bar! There was also a guest viewing area, in front of the barrier to the right of the stage, so we made ourselves comfortable and stayed there all day, I was most upset when I was told Chris had been walking around outside the bar about 10 mins after I'd gone and got a drink! The lead singer of Maximo Park joined us in the veiwing area after there set, didn't get a chance to speak to him as he was chatting but it was very strange, I also walked straight past Edith Bowman, she's a very tiny lady! Unfortunately most of my photos came out pretty crap(very upset) but when I get time I will pick out the best, I also took some video but as we were so close to the speakers the sound isn't that good. Anyway, that was my day, hope I haven't bored everyone!! Laura xx

June 14, 200620 yr I have been to a few Coldplay gigs and my god they were on form at iow. This was the best i have ever seen them and from what other people are saying this was their best performance ever. They just blew me away and i think they have made iow festival history. Many people speak of Dylan, The Who and Hendrix when they say IOW festival but now its Dylan, The Who, Hendrix and Coldplay. Just superb!
June 14, 200620 yr aw that's so nice! And I agree! That's all people were talking about the next day. People I heard on the bus and train and stuff. It was great. Not used to hear people praising coldplay. Should be hearing it more often!
June 22, 200620 yr i listened 2 it live on virgin radio and was blown away!! (sorry thats sounds corney lol) but it sounded amazin, and i managed to watch 4 of the songs on TV afterwards, the lights were amazin!! and i have 2 big up chris's dancin!!!:D and i was very happy when they played swallowed in the sea!!! best song EVA lol.
