Steps

1. If you are pregnant or expecting a change in weight, for example when dieting, keep the skin supple by applying a rich moisturiser frequently.

2. A healthy, varied diet can contribute to better skin elasticity. Include oily fish such as salmon, nuts and seeds and lots of fruit and vegetables.

step two is such a joke! :laugh4: eating oily fish, nuts, seeds ... they all defeat the point of stretch marks !

Cuz you just get fatter eating them :disappointed:

nop nop.

In this I can help, because my mom is a nutriologist, so I can say, eating those things actually make you healthier because the oil they contain is not the same oil let see i.e. fast food contains. they contain a different type of oil, and it's actually healthy oil.

yes I understand how they can make your skin more elastic (thus avoiding stretch marks) But these nuts and such are still fattening.

THis is why most people keep them outta their diet list if they are trying to lose weight.

But thanks for the tips, Andrea (and your intelligent mother)

I eat much chocolate, nuts and other high-calorie stuff but I can't get a bit fatter :bigcry: Not that I want to be fat, just want to be a bit bigger and look healthier :disappointed:

Maybe I should start eating meat, chicken and fish :uhoh2:

lucky you :shifty:

You have a fast metabolism. I know you hear it alot...you are very lucky...later on..the weight will come on. If not, see a dietrician! They can give you special  diets that help with you specific weight gain problems.

You can't just start eating fatty foods.

I would love a metabolism like that! All the clothes are buillt for skinnies like you :bigcry:

Cor, I wish I could be like you. I just have to look at a chocolate bar and I put weight on!! :laugh3: :laugh3:

Yeah, I know, many people say that I'm lucky 'cos I can eat all I want and buy tiny clothes, but it's so embarrassing to wear bikini on the beach or anything like that if you're skinny :disappointed: It may sound weird for some people but it's really embarrassing :uneasy:

I haven't read all pages, but I just wanted to add my answer to this.. I hate seeing myself naked, I hate walking around in a bikini - I haven't even been swimming for the past two years because I'm ashamed of my body. I'm not fat, not at all, I weigh about 46 kilos (23 pounds) with being 1.60 m .. I have a normal body, I guess, but I still hate it..

I thought 46 kilos is like... 92 pounds?....

i think you're a bit underweight.

is it because you don't eat a lot or because of your good metabolism?

I'm not underweight, it's good like that.. I've got my little fat on my stomach and especially on my upper legs.. I'm just not happy with myself, no matter if I'm on a diet or if I put on weight.. Never good enough!

Like..you hated your hands!?

* I did.

Hahahaha! I hated my hands for a long time. But I dont know, for some reason I quite like them now.

I thought they had a shit kind of stubby character before, but now they seem more defined and cool.

Most the time I'm not.

When I look in the mirror I normally only see the things I dislike about my body. I do have a problem with weight but as I'm really looking not to gain weight I'm not overweight. But still I feel fat.

im comfortable

sometimes when i look i the mirror i think "geeeez what happened to you"

others im like yer im hawt (y) :P:P

Well, I gotta say that I definitely feel better now than I used to. I started to show a kinda plunging neckline, you know what I mean? I feel comfortable about my breasts I guess :P I hate the rest of my body, but I kinda like my dekolleté - and it's sad but now that I show more, a lot more boys look at me :D I shouldn't be proud of it - but which girl wouldn't like that?

Me.

If I had the chance..I would be flat.

obviously..you're a little earlier on in the "best neckline" game..you will see they are a bigger annoyance than a pleasure (for OTHERS...*boys*)

I mean, if I had to like having a rack..I prefer one like mine..its nice.

But I don't care for it. There's no purpose unless your a breastfeeding mother.

which I am not.

sorry to sound so vulgar, but I don't care much for those deals

^ Believe me, my neckline doesn't matter at all to me, as soon as the summer is over, I'm gonna cover it like I used to. The temperature is just perfect to show a little bit, but the ones who care about stuff like that aren't the boys I WANT anyway.. There's more about me than just the little skin I show, that's it.

Yes, it's also fitting into clothes...because most female blouses and dresses are tailored for girls with some types of neckline.

^ Exactly, that's what I'm wearing. I'm not buying clothes just to show neckline, it justs fits well with lots of blouses and t-shirts.

Can you bear to look at yourself naked?

Yeah, to me, its just like wearing clothes. Even when I was 13 and FAT, I'd be fine with wearing no shirt on a hot day, and sitting in my sofa with the rolls covering over my belly button. Good times.

Some people just aint comfortable with it.

I dont know why but its just natural to me to not got too naked around others, unless I'm really drunk. Like that time I went to a beachside manor with a friend from England, to meet all of her friends and other people she doesnt know. Well, hardly knowing any of the 30/40 of them, I drank a bottle of whiskey and ran around the house completely buck nakkit. For about 20mins.

I dont quite remember that, pretty funny though.

I feel fat sometimes! I know I'm not overweight, but you do start obsessing about a tiny bit of excess flab. Ah well. Tis just me being all insecure again!

naked people :wideeyed:

with all the sport i'm doing, it would be a shame not making other people jealous :smartass:

where's my evian? :lips:
