GWYNETH PALTROW is ready to muscle in on hubby CHRIS MARTIN’s trade by launching a pop career.

 

The actress has made her first steps towards music stardom — and pretty big steps they are too.

Gwyn has been writing and recording with WILLIAM ORBIT, who produced MADONNA’s Ray Of Light album and BLUR’s 13.

Gwynie has finished a few tracks which William is very proud of. He’s been boasting about how good her voice is and that the two of them have great musical chemistry.

She has been visiting William’s London studio since she gave birth to second baby Moses in April, a little brother for Apple.

 

William told a pal: “We bumped into each other and got talking and it turned out she was keen to do some recording.

“We’ve already done a track which will make a brilliant first single.”

My source said: “Gwyneth has messed around with Chris — so to speak. She would not work on music with her husband, she feels like she would be treading on his toes.

“When they are together they like to be away from work. But Gwyneth has got a fantastic voice.

“While she is enjoying being a new mum, making music is a great way to relax. But the stuff they are making is working out so well they are talking about releasing it.”

Gwyneth did sing in the karaoke-themed movie Duets, which was directed and produced by her late father BRUCE.

She performed Bette Davis Eyes and Just My Imagination, which were released on the soundtrack.

The COLDPLAY wife is one of those women who appears to be successful at everything she does. I wouldn’t bet against her becoming a major pop star.

Chris had better watch out.

Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly recorded a series of tracks with producer William Orbit.

 

The Sun reports Paltrow - who sang in the 2000 flop movie Duets - has been writing and recording with Orbit, who produced her pal Madonna's Ray of Light album.

 

A source tells the publication: "Gwyneth has messed around with Chris (Martin, her husband and Coldplay frontman). She would not work on music with her husband - she feels like she would be treading on his toes.

it's not true. i'm sure. with one newborn and one toddler i highly doubt she has the time.

I doubt it's a rumour. She always said she loves singing and quoting her producer that exactly does make the impression like it's true. And her two kids won't stop her from doing it - instead of shooting a movie, she'll simply record an album, it's the same time effort. I don't think she'll go on tour afterwards, it's like Robert Downey Jr. recording an album and shooting movies again afterwards. And Robert has an AMAZING voice, too, and so does Gwyneth! I absolutely love her voice, although I'd prefer seeing her as an actress.. I'm sure that people will make fun of her when her plans of becoming a singer will be public - it's that typical "Actors should stay actors and singers should stay singers"-thing!

 

But on the other hand, there are lots of people who are talented at both, so why not? If she enjoys doing it, she should do it :)

This is so unlikely it's almost laughable. If she were to release an album, that would mean a tour... which she already has to deal with with Chris. Plus, according to recent reports, she has a slew of upcoming roles in films. AND YET ANOTHER POINT, she has often said that she stays at home and Chris goes off to work and she loves it that way, even though she still loves to act and such. I really, really think the last thing she would want to do is invade on the pop scene. She has a family now and still has her cting and fashion career to factor in, as well as traveling with the band.

Releasing an album doesn't mean touring around the world. Like I said, actors like Robert Downey Jr. released an album because they were passionate about music - Robert then did a little promo tour with signing albums but that was it. Afterwards he got totally into acting again, married his fiance and stuff like that.. She doesn't have to be a big part of the music industry, Robert isn't either, she just wants to do what she loves.
