poor ukraine! not that i had any hope for them...but being ukrainian made it so much more exciting and filled my usual pessimistic self with hope...oh, im devastated!

First of all Chris was just having a bit of fun!

 

Secondly (and most importantly) he was right to back us seeing as the idiot took a dive and the ref fell for it hook line and sinker. Thats a bit different to a 3-0 thrashing!!!!

 

Thirdly he was in our country, do you think he would have said "oh yeah go italy you australians suck', come on now.

 

Fourthly, correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume English people have a closer affiliation with Australia than with Italy, you know seeing as their queen is our head of state and we are part of the commonwealth and all.
