You obviously do not seem to know of the Cruzades at all... ever had Middle Age at history class? you know many people was burnt in the name of fanatism for the Christian god.

Why don't you try to make a thread about Blacks or Jews and see if it gets taken off. I don't know about Colombia, but in the United States, I have the right to say or write anything I want.

 

Like I said earlier, personal freedoms are so wonderful. The rest of the world should try out the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. It kicks ass.

People are going to feel they way they do about certain subjects anyway, might as well share it with others, maybe they see the other side of things.

Not trying to offend anyone when you are pissed is called p.c. and it doesn't really resolves anything, whilst discussions like this one might.But usually they end the way they started.

I feel so stupid talking of this, I'm not a muslim but I know quite a few people who are and all I can say is that admire them a little bit, just by the way the actually LIVE their own religion in the most healthy way, and the passion they have for it. Not like otehr religions I have contact with. What ugadawg5 says here are just very plain and poor arguments based I guess in the actions some extremist factions show of the Islam but that of course doesn't represent the whole majority of Islamic people in the world.

until I see a worldwide movement by muslims aimed at stopping their radical factions from killing innocents, I will continue to believe that the Islamic community tolerates the radical's actions, and therefore until then, Islam is not a peaceful religion in my opinion.

'Islamic terrorism' (notice the quotes) is a creation through set-up, funding, as well as incitement, by the rogue powers that have the hold on both major parties in the U.S, the UK and many other U.N members.

Why would the US and it's allies create 'Christian Terrorism' when the foundations of their political campaigns are based on christian principles?? ....They wouldn't as they wouldn't gain anything from that.

 

However, the US administration isn't truly based on this Christian backbone as it's all a big 'points winner' with the voters.

They issued a FBI release flyer which lists people how have "Christian Identity", who are "Defenders of the US Constitiution" and "Animal Rights" supporters as "Terrorists".......I mean it's madness....

I am sure the title of this thread.. and its first post. would be against the law in this country ' UK' for inducing religious hatred, and I think it should be pulled. I cant belive inbreds in the world think like this... personally as soon as people stop thinking one set of people are better than someone else... the world would be a peaceful place...

first of all, I am sure every muslim that is on this message board is a fine and moral person.

 

if the Islamic World does not like Islam being perceived in a negative light, why don't muslims band together to abolish groups like Hamas, Hizbollah, and Islamic Jihad. They are behind most Islamic violent acts. The greater good of Islam could shut these groups down and there would be much more peace.

 

I never see any large group of muslims do anything more than publicly denounce attrocities commited in the name of Islam. Do more about it and maybe this Islamic Extremism will cease to exist.

Islam means peace. Do you remember it? People like saudi sheiks or that use Islam as a false cause to make wars.......Violence is a conservative thing (like Bush......;))

i actually feel like ppl are trying to be politically correct alot of the time, saying that ppl mean the best in all that they do- so you're presenting upadawg5 as this ignorant person who's talking bull. He may have presented his point as comprehensive point to all muslims worldwide. I don't think the muslems are bad ppl, I live amongst them- and although most of the time they only add trouble to my life, I know good open minded ones, good ppl.

 

However, I dont think there is a need to stand up for every detail. I agree that many many muslims are living a more primitive life than the western civilisation, and that's what causes more violence (mostly the arabs, not the muslims living in more western countries like Turkey for example).

 

They believe in blood vengeance which is probably one of the most primitive laws out there. If a girl has sex before she's married she's banished from her family, and never weds. Sometimes families get into quirrels that last forever until they have this things called "Sulhas". All very primitive

 

I'm not saying this comes necesarily from the Quran. I myself studied some of the Quran at school- the Suras that I studied were general about the day of judgement etc. However, someone said in this thread "all religion wants peace". I'm just gonna say that a bunch of BULL. I'll go against my own religion to say that in the jewish bible war is discussed alot, and there are laws about wars and what to do etc.

And what about you? A peacemaker? Are you creating calm and resolving anything by pointing out a religion that has become misinterpreted? There isn't a perfect religion out there. Mistakes have been made. Don't attack and throw out a prejudice against Muslims. Against the violent extremist groups? Sure, you have your evidence. But you are creating more turmoil by viewing a whole group of people only by the actions of a select few. It is wrong and unjust.
