Spencerian Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 Where to buy Hi, I bought the early singles as they came out at Virgin Mega store on Sunset in LA and at Tower Records on Sunset. Also when they get them, Amoeba is good. I've always bought the Coldplay singles within a couple of weeks from when they were released, so I've never had a hard time finding them. I was simply lucky enough to hear an advanced copy of Parachutes before it was released, and went out and bought Shiver, then Yellow and Trouble etc as they all came out. The BEST place to gaurantee getting the singles is: IdealCopy.com They're a bit pricey, but they always have the new singles right away, and the guys who run the store are really cool and look out for fans. Also, I noticed some people were saying things like "My collection is not so impressive..." Well, it's your collection, and since you like it and have been collecting the things in it, it's really cool. I'm sure that no matter what size collection any of us has, there is that one piece in the collection that you love and that has a cool story behind it... and that one is the only one that really matters in any collection. :-D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

66 Posted September 7, 2006 Share Posted September 7, 2006 aside from being a lucky bastard with the saftey ep ;), it looks you have all the main releases (UK released?)...OTW many of the singles and records have South American, Japan and Taiwan releases, and other limited runs, such as the Parachutes and X&Y tour editions. The bulk of the singles will have UK, US, Japan, some Taiwan, some South American and Aussie releases, along with single and album promotionals and some EP, single and album vinyl releases. Since I already have 2 copies of Talk, and 2 copies of X&Y, I don't think I'll buy those... or maybe I will someday :D "Gravity" should have made it to the album, it's such a beautiful song -seems to me that it's almost as emotional as "the Scientist" or "Fix You".
