I have 4. Doesn't seem like much compared to everyone else. I have the South East Asia Tour Edition of X&Y and the rest of the studio albums. I SAW Live 2003 DVD/CD today at the record store but it's like, $26. :o Yeah...nope. Thank God my birthday's coming up.

so i kinda have a dilemma with something and i hope that you guys can help me

the ' problem ' is that i can cheaply get some rare coldplay vinyls, but i don't have enough money to buy both of them! wich one should i choose ? :confused:

 

- in my place 12" ( in a used condition )( 8.4 €)

 

- speed of sound clear 10" ( still in original plastic wrapping)(10€)

 

keep in mind that i allready have both of them, but i want to choose the one that's the rarest or the one that will be a wanted item in a couple of years:D

And I when I say a lot mean....a lot.

 

My brother and I have collected them since around them time shiver was released.

 

I don't have a catalog saved in a text file but I'd dare say it would not be fun trying to write them all down. I remember counting though a while ago - 60+ official releases if I remember - most of them sealed apart from a few of the more standard CD releases.

the In My Place 12" is, by far, the rarer of the two. But both can be found pretty regularly for a fair price. SOS is still the cheaper, and found available on hundreds of sites. In My Place comes and goes. I grabbed two copies a few years ago for about $15 USD each; I saw a few on GEMM recently for about $20 USD each, so it hasn't really risin in demand, but is scarcer than SOS. Think left-legged pineapple still has one or two for about 10GBP.
