That was not the real reason for not signing the protocol.. according to bush it'd harm america's economy so he refused. Well, usa will certaily remain as one of the richest countries of the world for many decades but at what cost?

Future government will try to do something about it but like i said this generation wont sufer so much but thenext will have to pay for our leaders mistakes. And yeah i believe The kyoto protocol would help the world,or at least try to do something to change the way things are going.

The purpose was to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases by specific percentages of the 1990 levels. Bill Clinton hailed the Protocol as a historic agreement and signed it in November 1998. [but President Bush from 2001 opposed it and acted to] overturn his predecessor's signature of the Protocol.

Im gonna go with science on this one, and theres alot of evidence showing otherwise. sorry but ive seen both sides and the side i chose made much more since and had science and logic behind it. the kyoto would only hurt the nations that signed it without solving any problems. it would be a complete waste. and bush didnt fuck with it, the only reason clinton did was for political reasons.

Sorry...just a naieve question here...what is George W.'s family's prime source of income again??? Oh Yeah, right!

That makes no difference, it would be unwise for any president to enforce it because it helped no one out and only hurt the nation. bush wants the nation to grow, not to hurt for no reason. no matter what his family bussiness is.

Lets look at this like this. why would anyone want to be apart of something that hurt their nation and didnt help anything out? there would be no point to it?

hahaha

hahaha

that has nothing to do with the situation. the fact is it wouldnt help the world out and only would hurt the nation.

Tracie's comment was hilarious so i laughed no harm in that and to me its just about money so hey screw the world, we just want some cash eh?

how can you say that billions and billions of poeple on the planet haven't aided much in the destruction of the ozone?? Its the craziest thing... Lets not forget who signed a certain act that would allow manufacturers to emit all kinds of gases and pollutants into the air.... mmhmmm you guessed it.. Dubbya!

Was wondering what 'juice' you were referring to.
