I saw them open for Dirty Pretty Things, and usually opening acts get TOTALLY forgotten by me. But definately not the case with them, which hasn't happened since We Are Scientists opened for Arctic Monkeys. They really held their own, testiment to how great they are.

Awesome! I'm glad I'm not the only one :nice: That's so cool! Ghetto Ways is great, they're so cool. They've got such a funky, techno rock sort of sound. And they sort of take the piss out of a gig like We Are Scientists, live. I loved them a LOT!

They're not that bad.

They're different, I didn't really like them at first. But after dancing to 'Ghetto Ways' and being TOTALLY seduced by Bryan Garza (that bastard is the biggest flirt :laugh4: ) they're my current obsession.

Lay Down is awesome, my favorite line is "just got out yesterday, man, bought myself this New York steakknife"! It's so funny :laugh4: The guy gets out of jail, lights up an illegal cuban cigar in the airport then on the plane, takes a knife with him, then the cops nab him. Brilliant!! :laugh4: I love how all their songs are taking the piss to some extent, but at the same time they've got really sentimental ones that make me cry like 'Marsha' (which I'll upload for anyone who doesn't have it ;) )

 

 

'Mama' is my favorite, though. I could sing it all day!! And I have... :uhoh:

 

 

 

They've opened for a ton of great bands (Arctic Monkeys and Dirty Pretty Things the big ones I know of), and they're huge in the San Fran area. I'm glad I caught them early on, I'm trying to give them more exposure! :D
