Petra_coldplay
:D:D heehee thank you I use my Yamaha PSR2100 keyboard and some crappy mic...eagle something i think...its broken now really...well the head broke...in "I Was Wrong" I had a sock over it to try and soften the sounds lol! Unfortunately it didnt smell great! :P For recording I used Cakewalk...but I guess thats not so important... On stage I also use the RP80 effects pedal (mostly just delay/echo) on my voice for the intro to Yellow :D and also distortion for "Feeling Good" (Muse version) Oh and I suppose I have a guitar lol Yamaha Pacifica I believe...its either crap or broken lol...I get a lot of noise now when not hitting any strings :S Haha :p i have also that guitar;) That sentence isn't right :p but what ever:p And uh well other question how old are you, and since how long are you busy with music ? Paulus
Haha :p i have also that guitar;) That sentence isn't right :p but what ever:p And uh well other question how old are you, and since how long are you busy with music ? I'm 17...learned keyboard from when i was about 4...but started teaching myself more piano-y stuff a few years ago. Joined a band about a year or 2 ago and tried singing...went suprisingly well! :P First song I ever sang was Everything's Not Lost...which was...kind of ambitious lol I still get really annoyed about the reliability of my voice...as I feel like I can rarely sing well...and so far ive just been lucky with performances Got guitar 1 year ago...didnt get into it as much as piano but I know the basics and I can play the style of chords that Chris Martin seems to like (bottom 2 strings always open), which (with detuning) can work with almost any song :D wow i talked a lot...sorry about that :P

I'll have to try out the distortion for feeling good!

tengaio
When the Clowns Cry You never saw how I felt Left with the hand I was dealt I know you never cared ‘Cause you were so unfair You took all I had from my hands You made everything unreal Though your thoughts were concealed I know you’d steal it all And leave me here to fall You’d take the shadow from my grave And you just laugh at your lies Even when the clowns cry Left alone with my pain Freezing cold in the rain You slapped me on my face Saying I was such a waste Why’d you even give me time of day? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised That you made the clowns cry I’ll scratch your back while you stab mine Sometimes you treat me way too kind You say you’re good but child you’re bad You’re only happy when I’m sad Tossing and turning in my bed Thinking of all that you said “You’re so fun to use And easy to abuse” Though I try I really can’t forget You broke my heart and said goodbye Then went to watch the clowns cry You bit my hand and left me to die Just so you could see the clowns cry

Fixed
So me and my chums got together to try and write a song or two, this is our first offering. We have lyrcis and 1 or 2 chords. It's called Change Will Come. It's supposed to be an Embrace-y, Ashes anthemic singalong kind of tune. Don't laugh... any advice would be very much appreciated please. Thank you! Verse 1 I believe a day will come, When the pain will hurt no more. You and I shall chase the sun, And see a day when change will come. Verse 2 There must be a point to this fight, I don’t believe it’s all been in vein. I shall see this whole thing through, Ride this wave through to the end. Bridge Some day soon you’ll realise what you’re fighting for, Why you dared to carry on when you could take no more. All the bad you’ve seen and heard will soon get swept away, And you’ll make the ones that matter feel prouder every day. Chorus A change will come, And you will learn how to win once again. A change will come, No one will ever stop you from claiming your victory.
