I think its a bit of a crime that denying the holocaust is illegal. Those who deny the holocaust are just brainwashed by their family or friends ... If they'd study the whole subject and not only the part of the denying they'd see that there's no reason to deny the holocaust. I don't know if you should put my name on the list ... I'm against the denial but I'm also against the fact that denying it is illegal.

September 9, 200619 yr Author on this issue i'm an anti-voltaire. to me and many others this issue is not so simple as freedom of speech. it insults me. so its not disagreeing and defendingf your right. i don't agree with gareth that 9/11 was a set up, but i never protest against him saying it, in fact i would defend his right. but the difference is that this involves questioning the dead... surely that is beyond the limit of what we in society can deem as acceptable. its essentially nullifying that people ever died. its like saying 'there were never people in the world trade center when they collapsed. the supposed three thousand who died are actually living in alaska as we speak'. it doesn't question if the government was behind it, but rather that those who supposedly died was a farce. its just plain unacceptable. so do you see the difference? freedom of speech has a limit. would you let someone create a thread on here vilifying people of different creed or insulting people of different sexual preference, because you defend what the people said as free speech? no you would not. this is no different.
September 9, 200619 yr Josh i have alot of respect for you, but in my view everyone has a right to say whatever no matter how bad it is. even when it offends me deeply. My feeling on free speech are the same no matter if they are at me, i may not like it but everyone has a right to say what they wish. If someone wants to make fun of my religion, race...i hate that but i wont try to stop it.
