Stereophonics

I've just been to see Kelly Jones live at Sage. He was brilliant. The venue is pretty sweet too, if you picked your moment well enough you could actually have a proper conversation with him, and he was in a pretty funny mood, making jokes about everything.

Awesome fun, he played the entire solo album and then for the encore he played 5 Stereophonics tracks.

Have you paid Ian the required sum of money to advertise your website?

I believe the current rate is a cookie :wink3:

Did he say anything about the new album, like when it will be released?

Remember their new DVD (Rewind) comes out on the 2nd April, taking a look back over the back 10 years with some live stuff on the 2nd dvd.

Got to find this! :)

I like this band when they sang "Have A Nice Day"

^^ I like that song too. If you listen clearly to the lyrics you might get surprised. :D

Hurry Up and Wait so far is my favorite song.

My ticket for the first Cardiff date came today :D

Good for you!

Don't forget to tell us how the show is. ;)

I will :)

The atmosphere will be amazing as it's in effect their "home-coming" show.

Just got tickets to see them in Utrecht, The Netherlands... 1 of 3 venues they'll be playing in Europe this year.

It was sold out within 8 minutes or so, so I'm a lucky bastard.

I really wanted to see them on the 18th coz it's my birthday but it's sold out

I always amazed on how fast tickets for certain gigs were sold, so you definitely are very very lucky. :D

Pull The Pin is really good, love it!

I've listened to it. *feels guilty*

And I love it too! I'm already really into some songs. :nice:

I'm being a good boy and not downloading it :)

I tried my best not to, but the temptation was just so big. Can't help it! :D

I'll still buy the album when it comes out though. :)

I have already pre-ordered my copy :smug:

The b-sides to the first single are a bit poor in my opinion

I think I'll wait until it's available in stores here. :)

I like It Means Nothing :) and Bank Holiday Monday is alright, but I don't know about other songs in the cd single. I'm pretty curious about Helter Skelter.

Which one that you think is poor?

Helter Skelter is rumoured to be a cover of the Beatles song.

For a lead-in single for a new album, to have b-sides on the main CD of a track which has been released already (plus given away to ticket holders), a cover and a demo, looks like the track-listing for a 3rd/4th single from the album.

I think it is a cover of Beatles song.

I don't quite get what you were saying above. Did you mean that the track-listing for their 3rd / 4th single will be the same as in 2nd? And that's because they put a cover and a demo?

Excluding those 2 vinyl live tracks, the b-sides for the lead single of a cover plus a demo is the track listing I would have expected for the 4th release from the album.

And why Bank Holiday Monday is on there I have no idea, it was released as a single back in May plus given away to ticket holders.

I have heard the support for the UK gigs is coming from The Enemy.

Thank god I have got myself a reserved seat so I can miss the shower of sh*t that is The Enemy :laugh3:

Oh, I like The Enemy.

Sure, they're very Oasis-y. But heck, they've got some good tunes imo.

They are more like a bad Jam. The masters of the one song album, where all the songs sound the same.
