March 22, 200719 yr Author well, from my experience of ONE i'd say-go to a little band in you're home town/nearby just to say you have. i'm by no means attracted to the "i go to a gig at least once a fortnight"-though i'd like that!
March 22, 200719 yr My first gig was a little festival held by Radio1 in Sunderland, it had: Athlete, Kasabian, Foo Fighters and some other people. Then I saw in 2005 (same year as above)- Stereophonics, Franz Ferdinand (+ Editors) and Coldplay 2006 I think I only saw Kasabian... I think. That was December as well. Hm.. Poor year. Oh! Wait, I saw Milburn as well. And I would have seen Jet but they moved the date forward one day (so it was same day as Milburn) 2007 so far I'm going to see Kelly Jones next week, and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS in August. :D
March 22, 200719 yr The first concert I had ever gone too was Coldplay in August of 05. Rilo Kiley supported, and were amazing!! I saw Coldplay again in Feb 06, and Fiona Apple supported, she was alright. Then I saw Muse last summer, Ashlee Simpson the night after Muse, haha, the tix were only 5 dollars, and its cheaper than going to a movie, so why not, Then I saw Tom Petty, who had Trey Anastacio open for him, and it was awesome. And on May 9th I'm going to Arctic Monkeys. Which, I'm excited about, as I haven't been to a concert in about 8 months. But I feel really bad for you virgins out there, concerts are the best thing ever! I could go to a concert every night and never get sick of them. Live music, is the best music.

March 22, 200719 yr hmm... my first concert was probably Big Foot Mama show when I was 14, but I know I was on some concerts before but just because I went there with my parents, which doesn't count. Otherwise working at concerts isn't a bad idea either, though you don't hear a lot of music because of all people screaming at you.
March 22, 200719 yr Author RADIO 1's BIG WEEKEND IN SUNDERLAND? little my arse.that was when gwen stefani just went solo and played it. and FUTUREHEADS-i remember hearing it all on the radio :dozey: dying to be there... then they had it in DUNDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, where i am now-didnt get tix tho :( twas such a good line up too! god i gotta see the coldplay live, but dunno how it'll compare after muse, might seem a bit tame-like i said-i could die happy if saw chris and the boys :smug: my mate worked security at Reading last year.said you don't get to see much, but as he's got a charmed life, and lives in dundee, he met the view, got on their tourbus to london-watched them play backstage: and met kate moss and pete doherty. (doherty is his music got-he got him to sign a hat.) then got a lift back up to dundee with the view, and had some good banter apparently..... i personally don't think much of The View, but there was a massive queue for tix when i went to pay my council tax cos they're playing dundee caird hall.......
