Excessive speed doesn't help, especially if your concentration isn't what it should be.

However, aggressive or impatient driving is probably more to blame, together with "distractions".;)

I do feel the motorway speed limit is unnecessarily low, however. In Germany the limits are much more sensible.

Even what you might consider to be the "standard" limit is around 80 mph!!;)

So do the police, they don't care if you drive at 80 mph because motorways are one of the safest roads in which to drive. The correct speed is the speed where your keeping up with the flow of traffic not to cause any tailbacks.

I do not like tailgaters at all...if you've ever been rear-ended, or rear-ended someone (like myself), it makes you nervous to get very close at all to other cars.

Safer....................but clueless!!:P

And tailgating is irresponsible and very unsafe. ;)

Oh Mark your blatently sexist, rude and extremely outdated jokes are sooooooooooo funny. Let me apply some makeup whilst my sides split

^If you care to check back you'll see the actual "joke" wasn't mine.;)

The thread wasn't my idea, either.

It is a hoot, though!!:laugh3:

I suppose this is where I admit posting the joke.

Well it was only a joke. No harm was done, was it? In the words of Ricky Gervais on "Extras", you were only "having a laugh"!!;)

i have a few more women jokes if you want a laugh!

But keep an eye out for the "PC" police!!

How many women does it take to change a light bulb?

None. They can cook in the dark.
