Today has been a great Mewish day with: the addition of Eyelime to our thread (mm, new blood...wow, that sounds creepy ;)), the frenger comic andddd the video blog. So much excitement. Really. I actually was late to my morning class because I was checking out the comic posts....(Hum, probably shouldn't admit things like that :uhoh:).

 

Kathy - Do it! Go crazy! Jump out of your seat and shout MEW!! The folks in the library could probably use a dose of craze.

 

Kekita - yeah, anyone can draw for the Frenger Comic...I think they have two people lined up, but you should let them know that you're interested to write a future eppy. I'm planning on drawing one at some point too. Hey! I've got an idea! How about all of us write one together!? :D Yesss...

V. cool that you're taking some time off to do some jet setting, Josh. School can burn you out; sometimes you just need a break. I think I may be doing this same this Fall - I'm itching to get out of my country for a while and see the world with nothing but a backpack on my shoulders. I'd love to travel on a whim - limiting planning and no stressing. (I'm not even going to try and figure out how I'm going to pay for it yet...details, details.) Haha, I could easily translate some interviews for you guys, when I have the time and such. Unfortunaly, I'm dealing with exams at the moment - but I guess I could do small interviews ;)

 

I've attended 2 of their concerts. One from the very early days, and the last one probably a year and a half ago.

that sounds like a great plan Nadia, we should persue it! i finally got around to checking out Jonas' contribution to the frenger comic. haha aw made me laugh quite a bit.

Taiwan? i would've never have guessed. that's so far off from what i was thinking. could you post the link to that comment Josh? hm, that destination seems way random. to be honest i doubt they would come to Australia to do a single show, that and i don't think they include Aus with the Asian continent, but as usual, i am still hopefully lol

 

that's good you're taking a year off, it's probably the best thing to do esp since you're considering going into medical sciences. do the whole backpacking thing and visit the world! i'm going to do that too next year, a friend of mine is heading to African during the june/july break, lucky lucky her but due to Cyn's wedding i can only travel end of year. oh travelling, next best thing after music and animals imo! :nice: have fun!

 

@ Nadia, spontaneous travelling, wouldn't that be great *reflects back to amazing race* haha. Denmark hm, well i do plan to visit Europe next june/july and stay with a friend of mine in France but that's ages away, it's the light at the end of the year long length tunnel i have to get through first :book2:

to see anything of mew on our television here (in aus) would be something. the only exposure the get here is a handful of times, if lucky, on an independent radio station which i have yet to hear! gawsh!

Speaking of Indian film actresses and such, I saw The Namesake tonight - the new film by Mira Nair (and based on the book of the same title by Jhumpa Lahiri). It's a beautiful film about the "immigrant experience" and of culture clash. Being first generation Indian born and living in America, I could certainly relate to aspects of it. Wonderful film. Highly recommended. /end OT. I swear.

That's what I would have guessed - they don't seem to be real attention seekers. And as far as I understand it, their stint in London is over, and they've moved back to Copenhagen.
