^^ well in australia we have extremely strict rules on gun ownership and it works really well. i think the idea that everyone needs a gun to defend themselves is ridiculous.

i just saw this on the news and i couldn't believe it once again. so much death and for what? i mean really.... people are the problem, not the weapons use to carry out their twisted intentions.

yeah but having guns readily available has a higher probability of being used and causing harm than when there are no guns.

sure, a completely no gun world would be amazing, but unrealistic. i just debate against guns as a way to defend yourself, and that removing guns would cause more death.

If Kids get hold of a gun - youve heard the stories.

 

And if everyone else has a gun then you'd shoot them before you rob them so they dont shoot you.

Yeah, I sort of agree that there is a more of a need to control the movement of illegal guns and make sure people who are law-abiding, legal owners keep their weapons safely away, out of sight.

 

More needs to be done but I actually don't want to see legal owers being forced to give up their guns. All across America people are having their land snatched (federally) and I feel that at the present time people need to be able to feel as if they can fight this injustice.

Yes but when someone suprises you or can outrun you or traps you, you're screwed. Hell we take away guns people with the need to kill people could just use bombs and then no one would have a fighting chance.

I dont think we could control illegal guns too much. Look how much drugs get into america. It would be easy to smuggle illegal weapons in. Guns are like drugs as in banning them won do much good. Right now if i wanted to i could go get any drug and if i had enough money i could get different kinds of illegal guns.

And if they didnt they could easily go out and get one illegally very easy, easier then buying one legally.....so banning guns would do no good. Like i said taking away guns would ONLY punish law abiding citizens.
