it's the best thing to do

yeah what a knobhead...

Will's right.. it can work.. but you have to accept that it's not gonna be easy and you have to be willing to work on it. And I agree that if you don't think you'll ever meet.. you shouldn't get into it. It's no good for anyone.. And if you're happy with someone you met on the internet, why would you end that just because you can't see eachother everyday?

^thats why hes my manager! hahaha

So is he really helping you or is he just doing it to get more attention? :P

but how can u know if you're even attracted to a person uve never met

pictured dont mean squat... i dont think u can get anything from a picture

and u might think that the person has a great personality but then u meet him in person and something just doesnt click, doesnt feel right. Conversation flows alot better when chatting than when talking to someone fluently.

and there are other things that make u attracted to someone- facial expessions, hand gestures, the look in the eyes....

i understand falling in love with someone uve met, but with someone u havent even met?

it could be realllllly disappointing once u actually meet

i atleast wouldnt call it love, maybe just a crush

So is he really helping you or is he just doing it to get more attention? :P

i have other ways to do that ok? :P

^ i'll pretend i never read that... :uhoh2:

I know pookie... i know...

and Gal... I actually have met my boyfriend and it was just like i thought it would be. Ofcourse it was weird at first because you have to adjust to being together for real.. but i think you can get to know someone pretty well from talking to them daily. If it's not really a person you care enough about you'll probably never meet, but when you get to the point that you decide to meet and go through all the troube you know it's gonna be worth it. And it was :)

im happy for u that it worked out that way...

and i know u can get to know a person really well just from talking to them, after all, that is how u get to know ppl

however, the attraction between the two of you may have been coincidential, u could even call it good luck. Just like good friends in real life could be clicking conversation-wise and not be attracted to each other, same goes through the internet...

just because u get along really well with somebody doesnt necessarily make an attraction be there

I didn't say that eh.. but you know the difference when it's there. It might seem hard to imagine.. I know, when my cousin met her boyfriend over the internet I told her she was insane, and he was even from this country. But then it happened to me and I really didn't care anymore.. It's a different feeling. It's when you feel the need to talk to somebody the whole time, no matter about what, when you wanna txt them in the middle of the night.. It's not the same feelings as with just a friend. Believe me :P

And I'm sorry to say I have to leave this discussion just when it's getting interesting but my bro needs the pc.. bbyee

i guess u know what you're talking about

and also your approach to things

im not saying it's impossible, i could just never see that happening to me. I have met a really good friend through the internet, and we talk all the time. But still, i could never say i love him or have a crush on him even cause i never even met him

no matter how much we talk

bye... it was nice talking to u!!

but i didnt get your name :embarassed:

Sorry..I read this whole discussion and I just say that Anouk (that's her name btw) is right.

I know it's hard because I'm that guy Anouk met on the internet, so I know what I'm talking about:)

I always tried to keep away myself from having a girlfriend over the internet till I met her..and everything just happened
