I know that this rumour about the new coldplay record wont be done for another 5 years is bollocks! but i'm really disappointed with this album and tour!

 

1. Only 3 singles!

 

2. Hardest Part rubbish! (Radio only???)

 

3. Not enough UK dates! Too much time in the U.S!! (sorry u.s fans, i know theres people out there that didnt see them, and i know U.S is massive! and you've probably got a right to moan aswell!)

 

4. No DVD!!!! gonna be shown on tv!!! :( thats the only thing i look forward to when and album n tour comes to an end! is the fact i can watch it all over again!

 

5. How long for a new album???????

Oh please... would people stop moaning about this stuff? In the first place, there were four singles for X&Y and an extra special release in Australia, probably because Australia only sees Coldplay there nce every three years. The Hardest Part was radio only, but maybe that was because they didn't have any B-sides to release.

 

And take a minuet, and compapre the size of the US and the UK... there. Now you know why there are more dates. (And also, they went to cities that they'd never been to before, like Oklahoma City and Omaha) And besides, you Brits have the convience of being able to follow them through the country, because it's so small. I couldn't possibly follow Coldplay through mine, so I see them once when they come to my city and then that's it.

 

The DVD does suck, but we can't do anything about it, and, to me, it isn't a big deal.

 

And they'll take however long they want on the new album. The amount of time shouldn't be a complaint from their fans.

First off, I want them to take as much time as they need to make a great record. Would you prefer they released a piece of shit next week? My god, they have worked their asses off for the last 6 years and have started new families and DESERVE some fucking time off to enjoy themselves.

3. You at least got tour dates, I'm sure the peeps in South America would have loved 1 or 2. The state I live in is bigger than the entire UK and we got 3 shows. Travel or get over it.

Well, everything has been said.. We discussed all that stuff in another thread and we'll come to exactly the same conclusion here as well - stop moaning, you can't change it, be happy with what you've got!

And here I thought the Talk single was enough to get me through the lonely days..

i really wish people will stop complaining, if you really love coldplay for who they are you would write demeaning comment about them. i love coldplay and i listen to their music everyday thankful that i have some, more than other people in some countries ho have never heard of them before!

They are already in the same frame as Oasis (taking 3 years to do an album!) and they've done 6 albums!!

 

And as for the tour dates: they done more on the AROBTTH tour in the UK!

Bands like Bon jovi and REM and Chilli peppers done more stadium gigs!!

i'm not moaning, just think they should get on being the best band on the planet!!

They are already in the same frame as Oasis (taking 3 years to do an album!) and they've done 6 albums!!

 

And as for the tour dates: they done more on the AROBTTH tour in the UK!

A B-sides collection would be a really good idea though! So that the ones who can't afford collecting all CD Singles, can have them all on a double disc or something :D

DVD would of been klass! I loved the last one they did! still watch it now!
