My friends are killing me

Did you really like it that much there' date=' then?[/quote']

Yes, I did... it's also about someone I got to know there. So living at the other end of the country wouldn't help me much.

Has he "stalked off" yet??

Perhaps 'cos you want to make the person you really love jealous.. :P

naah, just kidding.

Perhaps 'cos you want to make the person you really love jealous.. :P

And who might that be??

Only Sally knows... :whip:

maybe I should do that Iris :sneaky:

but no way, that guy is too annoying for that.

And who might that be??

the other guy i was talking about. :embarassed:

haha, Sally, I know you wouldn't do that or maybe I'm wrong 'cos love can make us do silly things - and if they work....

well, if that one is too annoying, you'll have to look for another one :sneaky:

However, I think it's better not to use this method!

Well there's no such thing as bad tatse, there's such thing as different tastes blah-blah-blah... I don't give a shit. Maybe I should, but I just don't. If I don't like the band and I think it's shit - it's a bad music taste for me. That's the point, that's about your own opinion.

I'm not saying I hate all hip-hop, not at all. But Russian hip-hop and Russian pop is something that can kill people, seriously. I won't name the bands here because you lucky people don't know such names anyway.

If my friends liked James Blunt or Pussycat dolls it'd be probably less offensive and sad for me. Because James Blunt sucks of course, but he's not that bad, you know. At least there'd be some foreign music for god's sake. But Russian music through and through... Oh that's sad.

And the most annoying part is that these people think they're real music lovers, I mean, they believe they can hold smart conversations about music just because they read Rolling Stone lol. They take "smart quotes" from crappy magazines and just pretend those are their own thoughts, that kills me.

But how can you think you're a good in music if you don't even know The Beatles or Queen? God.

I agree with almost everything you say! Except for your comments on russian music, I've never heard any so I wouldnt know:)

Its true that there are different tastes and genres and that all human beings are different, but that doesnt mean that there isnt a fine line as to what is considered music. There are some so-called musicians that believe that any group of sounds is music, I beg to differ. Music, needs to have some sort of harmony, no matter how revolutionary you are.

I have the same problem. There's this genre very popular among hispanics called reggaeton(Its like a crapier version of hip hop, however, it has no imagination and extremely vulgar lyrics:sick:) and it has recently escalated to becoming the music that most listen to around here. Its seriously sick how people can start to stereotype us with that disgusting music. I've had conversations with people that can assure me of the quality of it, and even putting it on the balance next to the Beatles or the Stones:stunned:

I completely agree with the last part of your post. How can you be a music lover, if you dont know music in the first place? Bad music has become into this plague...even my uncle who claimed to be a musician for so long is falling into liking that crap:angry:

haha, Sally, I know you wouldn't do that or maybe I'm wrong 'cos love can make us do silly things - and if they work....

oh really maybe i should. :idea2:

but how the hell can i do this while living in switzerland? :bigcry:

nope, i wouldnt use this method. and i dont think i have to anyway.

yeah... it can work, but I'd rather use this method if I were desperate, y'know!

Well, you can't do it while living in Switzerland but once you are in Liverpool you could use all of your fatal female techniques. :wideeyed:

Surely you don't have to... even if you're truly in love, there's no reason for doing this, 'cos you have to be loved by what you really are.

very true.

but its love that makes people do them things as well. but as i said i wouldnt do it.

yeah, I know, I know!

Love can make us act foolishy. (and now Im refering to me!)

well its not just you. :embarassed:

oh, Sally, don't be embarassed! that happens to everyone and... also, we can learn from our mistakes and don't repeat them! :)

My friends are so embarrassing sometimes.

We're the odd group in our school and well, they're not making it very easy.

And my friends are always saying how much Coldplay sucks.

And one of my friends is bad luck!

We were in the hallway and the bell rang and one of my friends asks where two of my other friends were (male and female). The bad luck friend goes "Somewhere fucking each other!" and my French teacher was right behind her!!!! and I had a test right then and I did TERRIBLE!

My friends have a lot of drama also. And they're all boy-crazy.

what is the definition of good music first of all?

and what is good and bad music taste?

good effort on trying to be philisophical and all. But the truth is that there is BAD music.

No matter what your tastes are and you like this "gay" music and that is just the way you want to listen to music.... it's still "gay". Or really really lame music.

Like............................ backstreet boys. Where is their skills other than dancing like fools and turning on the ladies and then Lance turns out to be homo anyway.

And there is good music that takes skills, and talent, and effort :dozey: on an individual's behalf. I mean, there are musical "artists" that don't really write their own lyrics or their own music. That will never ever be a real artist to me. Kinda just consider them ...good performers or good executers. But not much else to stick in my heart.

You know it's true.

my friends are horrible sometimes ... all they listen to is songs about chicken noodle soup, pimps' chains etc etc.... they think coldplay is the worst band ever and constantly make fun of me (not that i care, i still love coldplay :D )

but music is just completely dead these days

bad music for everyone is different. as good music is, too

but wait!

if i'd start to generalise bad music then Backstreet Boys would be in the same category with bands like Muse or Razorlight. they are not better in anything than BSB or Britney Spears, in my opinion

you have no point. just because you feel you dislike it, it doesn't make that music bad, either makes music good if you like it. you may like it, someone else may not. for you this is good music, for someone else that is good music.

it's good or bad, IN YOUR OPINION but not generally

Lance is from N*Sync

I turn their crappy music taste into a fun thing! I constantly talk to them about my music and annoy the hell out of em. But they annoy me unintentionally so it works out :D
