The idea of not releasing it is not a popular choice on their behalf? Its called people power. Imagine if everyone emailed them over the weekend. They would have to at least respond to a couple of hundred emails about it when they got into the office monday morning. It will be worth a try, but more than likely that person who receives your emails hasn't got the power to decide what gets released and so will prob. delete the emails.
