Nice to see a thread about this great band. Funny story but my bro met the band before one of their gigs the other week and when they started playing they spotted him and dedicated a couple of songs to him and when he was getting crushed they pulled him up on stage and he was singing Jaine Jones with them.

When I went so one of the strokes secret gigs my mate left me on my own. I then bumped in to Didz and Anthony and was a bit of a fan boy at first but soon got over it. We ended up chatting about loads of stuff. I was telling them how impressed I was when they played in the vaults and just general stuff about life. They are really nice guys and wanted to know all about me and didn't wanna stand there talking about themselves. I have to say if you wanna meet girls then definitely become a star or hang around with them because the girls were swarming all over them.

Thank you for all the links, particularly DPT covering 'Panic Attack'! I heard them play this during soundcheck (didz and Josh sang) in Boston this summer. Loved it. Josh is such a nice guy (meaning Josh of the Pads, obviously, who filled in for carl ;) ). He's cool. And really tall. And very hard to understand. :laugh4:

I've always loved thet 'Panic Attack' cover SO MUCH. In fact, that was their first song I heard :stunned: and decided to check them out after that! Wooo love love that song.
