So, I've been fascinated by this beautiful album cover from Sigur Rós' record 'Takk...' for quite some time now, and thought it was probably the most beautiful album cover I've ever seen - but there are really pretty covers out there, also by Damien Rice, Snow Patrol, Sufjan Stevens..

 

I haven't found a similar thread like this, so I apologise if something like that has been suggested before. However, tell me what's your favourite album cover?

 

I love the one of Pink Floyd's Animals - it fits so well to the topic of that album like no other I know :nice:

For me, many and its hard to narrow it down but I have chosen OK Computer- Radiohead. I dunno excatly why but I think its a very powerful cover.

 

Im also becoming very interested in the cover for BHAR from Muse, I absolutely love it. Takk's is amazing. In fact all Sigur Ros covers are simply artistic :D

Pink Floyd album covers are wonderful (apart from The Wall.. it's so different from their style somehow, but I guess it wasn't made by Storm Thorgerson anyway?).

Yes they are. All of them, just because most of them are by Storm Thorgerson, who made such a great work all along his career, mainly for Pink Floyd. You can watch all his album covers on his wiki.
