it's the best movie i've seen for a while. incredible cast and truly brilliant story

Nicholson at his best, DiCaprio was great, Wahlberg was hilarious etc.

yay!.. i'm planning to go see it, next thursady........ wow can't wait

Last movie I saw,great cast,performances,story and music

Oh man, this is my favorite movie of the year. I wouldn't say brilliant or terribly original story or idea, but definitely the most entertaining and engaging movie I've seen in a long time. Alec Baldwin made me crack up every scene he was in. Scorcesse better get the goddamnit Best Director Academy Award for it, it's been long overdue for him.

^ yeap, the story isn't original (after all it's a remake), but it blew me away. one of best screenplays of the last years i'd say

just watched it for the 2nd time in a week hahaha and i still could enjoy it. great movie

Have seen it twice already, and really loved it!

seen it yesterday and I was really impressed - great movie, highly recommended! ;)

once again a perfect role for jack nicholson, hehe.

well, I just didn't like the ending too much. I guess I'm more like a happy end kind of person ;D

Definitely the best movie of the year. DiCaprio deserves an Oscar nomination.

Makes a change from all those daft "cartoon" films which now proliferate.

every movie matt damon plays in, is a good movie. period

Just came home from the cinema watching this brilliant movie - I wasn't too fond of the story or the style, but the actors did an amazing job!

Jack Nicholson - amazing scene in that little porn cinema :P And Mark Wahlberg just cracked me up, he had by far the best role in that film, in my opinion.

I LOVED the ending - absolutely fantastic :D

A lot of people trash the ending, but give me a break, how else can you tie up all the loose ends when you're at 2 and a half hours already. (Insert praise for The Departed here).
