i love the Jose Gonzalez version of that song also :)

i can only think of one good electro song right now, Such Great Heights by The Postal Service. Ben Folds did a wicked awesome cover of that, i love both versions :)

^ will look into that.

Coldplay Are Love i like that version too-- he uses a spoon or fork doesn't he and at the end he puts his macarena ring tone lol.

A radio station in Aus has this competiton for up and coming artists they featured this band called My Ninja lover, check out the song 2X2 http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/View.aspx?artistid=5030

here is the list of all the electronic music http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/BrowseGenre.aspx?genre=Electronic

oh i love Unearthed kekita!! (hehe it's funny hey, they keep it going and you expect some big finish, and then the macarena ringtone :P)

i've found a few really lovely artists on there, (not electronic so this is a bit off-topic sorry) some gorgeous sort of old-fashioned tunes here.

The Knife are good, their album's among my favourites of the year.

from this year check out Chris Clark, LCD Soundsystem, Ratatat, Thom Yorke, AFX (Aphex Twin), Lindstrom and Squarepusher.

Electronic Music = Kraftwerk.

1980's electronic music beats anything from these days hands down.

^ i have to disagree, of course

electronic music isnt only Kraftwerk and 80s were weak, in music generally

and then again, the best Kraftwerk albums come from 70s.

70s were an extremely great decade for electronic music (Can, Brian Eno, Neu!) + many artists experimented with electronica, although it wasn't their genre (Miles Davis, Beach Boys etc)

and of course the 90s... Aphex Twin (the best electronic artist ever. period), Autechre, Squarepusher, Bjork of course, Portishead, DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, Stereolab, Super Furry Animals. just to mention the biggest names...

for me the best decade's of electronic is 70s or 90s, probably 90s were better in electronic music, but i might be biased

The best music generally comes from either the 1960's or 1990's.

no problem-- unearthed is so large won't get to all so its good to get recommended a song.

Aphex Twin seems to be major milestone in electronic music from the posts above so will def have to check them out.

And because of coldplay talk- got introduced to Kraftwork--i'm ashamed to say it but before that had no clue they existed.

Can the beastie boys be seen as electronic? or are they just beats like hip hop?

squarepusher too.

i'm downloading The Knife now.
