January 12, 200719 yr It's the start of a new year, what album are you looking forward to the most? I've heard that a bunch of artists are coming out with new albums this year. At the top of my list is Switchfoot's new album Oh Gravity. I checked out two new songs on their Myspace page. I've listened to the song Oh Gravity at least 10 times today. ;)

January 13, 200719 yr I've never really gotten into uploading coldplay boots for some reason. Neither have I. I like having boots of the shows I've been to, and live versions of songs they rarely do, but that's about it. But any chance to preview new material is a good thing!:)

January 13, 200719 yr If you think logically at the moment, EMI are in trouble, their 'big' releases of the last quarter of 2006 didn't sell as many as hoped (Robbie, Beatles, Jamelia), there is rumour that their big releases for the first quarter of this year (Norah Jones) won't sell as many as hoped. In 2005, the biggest seller for EMI was X&Y, when the album got delayed, the share prices fell, so EMI might release a greatest hits, even if the bands doesn't like it to try to get more income in to pay the shareholders their dividends. Either that or EMI records will do what Sony did a few years ago and have a mass dropping of artists whose albums didn't sell as well as they hoped.

I guess both things are not gonna happen anyway :rolleyes: oh, and finally a new travis album, of course! plus, I'm dying to see mando diao and maybe richard ashcroft live again, so they'd better come to germany again this year. geez. *g*

Either a greatest hits or a live album from their south american tour in a couple months time. Keep the fat cats happy. V2 North-America (or whatever it's called these days) a couple days ago dropped several bands as it's stopped doing new CDS, just a back catalogue company.

I hope they will come back to Germany as soon as possible. I'm already excited about new records of... Coldplay (but I don't think they will release a new one this year), Travis, The Hives, Beatsteaks and finally of Die Ärzte. :D
January 18, 200719 yr The new Coldplay, Radiohead and Travis albums. And other great music. Maybe also a concert from each of the bands above.
