January 18, 200719 yr I had to leave because of an emergency, so I missed the whole second hour..CRAP!! I laughed my guts out for the first hour though! *fingers crossed for an upload*
January 18, 200719 yr He didn't answer the questions, the real questions, from the fans? WTF. Thanks BBC for getting our hopes up. I still have to listen to it. I'm sure its enjoyable and I'm excited. Still.....what a crap load. Aaaaaannd now I'm back to happy.
January 19, 200719 yr Here you go good people: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37375 Enjoy!
January 19, 200719 yr whos the guy on the middle? He's called Nihal (sp?) and is Zane's helper type sidekick man. I also liked the way that he could play the crazy frog ont keyboard (I only realised that was what it was, on the second time around)
January 19, 200719 yr I am normally a radio one hater, but seeing as chris was on it I couldn't miss it just for my hatred of that station. It also stopped me from going completely out of my mind as the electricity had been off since lunchtime where I live due to the nasty storms we had in the uk. It actually wasn't bad, neither was chris, though did annoy me a little that chris didn't seem to give a fig about answering questions, that is really the only thing that annoys me about him! His dislike of talking about himself.
January 20, 200719 yr I had the station on before the show and the best part was when Chris arrived before the show and his joking about the breast milk... thought OK, this is going to be fun. When he brought his keyboard with him, he had his own idea of what he wanted to do... but as the homework thing got old real quick, as he couldn't really answer any of that stuff and the other guy just sort of took over with talking. I didn't really care for alot of the music choices, only a few. Ended up being basically bored with most of it and a headache, maybe not used to the British music scene. Disappointed that none of the questions came up from here which Radio 1 posted and had us thinking up stuff for several weeks... what was that all about... apparently nothing! Not one of my favorite listening sessions. And oh, Chris, please don't quit your day job! :snore:
January 20, 200719 yr All Chris ever does is talk about himself and his band. It's no wonder he's evasive alot. I bet it felt good for him to get out of his usual role and just have fun. I wish he'd answerred questions too...especially the Charity CD one,lol...but I'm happy for him that he just cut loose and had fun.:)
January 20, 200719 yr Yeah' date=' sorry if this has already been posted, but has somebody recorded it??[/quote'] About two seconds after I wrote this post I found it... sorry... I have ADD
January 20, 200719 yr But seriously this was so hilarious, some of the parts with Chris... he cracks me up...I laughed so hard my side hurt...
January 20, 200719 yr Aw...he played his bro's band. How cool is that?:) which song is it?? and which brother...? didnt know there was another one from the Martin clan in music business...
January 21, 200719 yr which song is it?? and which brother...? didnt know there was another one from the Martin clan in music business... It was Milk Teeth - 'Go Faster Stripes'. His brother Al is their drummer. http://www.myspace.com/themilkteeth
January 22, 200719 yr i was just wondering... i don't know if this has been mentioned, but they were talking about something about crying and when Chris had last cried, and it was the day before when had been crying because his best friend was singing on a track or something, and i was just wondering, do you think he was talking about Jonny maybe singing something on the new album?
January 22, 200719 yr I sure hope so. And I think he wasn't lying either. Maybe the musical magic is happening. :)
January 22, 200719 yr Zane Low Show He said he sometimes plays cards with Paul Mc Cartney. He hardly spoke about the group but was there to replace Zane Low that was on vacation. He did a great job even though I didn't like all the songs he had chosen on air because it was not always my type of music. Anyway it was entertaining to listen to him. I hope he'll start again to replace Zane.
