The first album I ever bought of theirs was HTTT

Amnesiac is seeming like the popular choice. I knew that is what Nik would say. :P

although I love amnesiac I have listened to Hail to the thief a lot more......at first I was not such a fan of it.....but now I love it

I think Pablo Honey is their worst album.....have never really listened to it....

I can't remember, maybe I'm an Amnesiac... (OK, dudes, this was the worst joke ever, but I've had a bad day...).

 

Hail To The Thief (The Gloaming), is also very good (it has There There !).

 

And Pablo Honey is... Pablo Honey... Well I'd say it's a good grunge-rock album. It's obviously far below the others, but hey ! it has Creep, and Blow Out !

the whole fat jim morrison mixed with kurt's hair phase is still hard to understand. :thinking:

Pablo Honey may not be their best but it is where it all started. It is also much more accessable than either HTTT or Amnesiac; meaning that people who are more used to straight foreward guitar rock will be able to relate to it. It's not a Radiohead album that I can listen to straight through but there are some great songs on it.

^Yeah the ones I've heard you can really just listen to the whole thing and not get bored. Thats what I like so much.

You know I just realized how I bought my Radiohead CDs...

January 2006 - The Bends + Kid A + Hail to the Thief at the same time

February 2006 - Amnesiac

July 2006 - I Might Be Wrong

October 2006 - Pablo Honey, My Iron Lung EP later

 

So because of this, I got into HTTT much slower than the others...and I didn't feel a big similarity between Amnesiac and Kid A, rather Amnesiac and HTTT.

 

Yeah I'm weird for remembering that.
