Coldplay production/music- what style do u want?

Darker. Alot darker. Dirtier. More noise. More textured and more subtle. Haunting. Grim at times. Hopeful. Moment of really glorious brightness. Electronic in bits. Acoustic in bits. Fitter. Happier. More productive.

Alrightie then..

Jeff Buckley-esque.

natural.

Not over produce..

Not as overly unbearably perfect as x&Y

i totally don't care. they're amazing no matter what they do.

if they do a marlyn manson type album, it'll still be awesome.

yet i heard they're going for an oasis type theme, which is a hell of a lot better. XD

Yeah, I'm with you there.

They might should try some trippy stuff.

That's not right. Wow. I hope they don't go all Oasis. That wouldn't be good at all I don't think.

Maybe OK. Maybe. Probably not. Almost certainly not.

Didn't they already do that with Parachutes? It's such a "natural" sounding album. Jeff Buckley's Grace is kind of heavily produced actually, in comparison.

Marilyn Manson  but I think Coldplay would actually sound really great with more metal influence.. which is there a bit on Low, maybe. The riffs in Square One are almost verging on some of those post-rock/metal type of bands like Envy, just a more pop version of that. My wish would be half their album goes in a shoegaze/even metal direction like Low/Square One/A Whisper/the riff of Politik and Yellow, but a lot more extreme, and the other half would be as close to Kylie and Girls Aloud as a rock band can get.

Why do poeple say X&Y was a synch album, I thought it had way more guitars than previous albums.

I'd like them to try some electronic-type stuff. Nothing full out dance, just a taste. They'd be so good at that! I'd also like some mid-90s Britpop inspired material. That would also be really cool.

But I'm up for anything at this point, really. I'm really open to new sounds for them now. They've established their "Coldplay" sound, and now it's time to move on.

WTF? :laugh3:

I like a mix of Jeff Buckley with AROBTTH and some of the same edge of X&Y.

well if chris combines some more love songs, with soft piano adding to it

and if we go to guitars then 'talk' is nice...

well any way they are trying for some new sounds.

Yeah, But Grace didn't sound over produced at all.

And I'm not saying an album like Parachutes, I'm just saying I like the more natural airey sounds.
