And there's also the Mafia problem!!:(

Italy has definitly no chance to host the 2012 Euro :

- Stadiums are like ruins.

- Violence and racism in the stadiums.

Italy has to be severe with the clubs with problems (lazio, catana...)!

Like we have to be with the Paris-sg.

I can answer you yes, we deserve to don't host them.....but will Uefa give it to Poland-Ukraine....or to Croatia-Hungary? I think no.....Poland-Ukraine has some political problems.....and Croatia-Hungary hasn't the stadiums too.....

And consider that these other 2 candidates will have problem if uefa will decide to increase the teams could play in....from 16 to 24....

It's strange because you have some of the greatest teams in the world, but the stadiums are very old... . I think that with a very strict respect of the law, like in ths UK, you'll be able to resolve your problems

i hope emilien...i hope it......it's time to be strict.....and if someone is not happy of that....can go away from this world...

End the league now, kick all the Italian teams out of the Champion's League/UEFA Cup for 5 years, kick Italy out of Euro 2008, so they can get their act together.

I agree. When people get killed, it shouldn't be taken lightly. They need to send a message.

we 'll start to play again this saturday...................here always speak invain.........:(

Anyway.....i agree with you about the ending of championships.....but maybe not with your idea of banning out of europe.......yes it could be a lesson for our teams........but i don't know.....i'm not convinced this could be applyed for this situation.....

Yes they're going to play on saturday but only in seven stadiums (the ones in compliance with the directives) people will be allowed to watch the match, all the others are closed for supporters. I hope it's the right way to go..but I can't see why the teams should be kicked off the Champions League/UEFA, it's our own internal business. If Italian teams' supporters will be found doing the same outside Italy then the team can be kicked off (that's what happened with Feyenoord)..imho

The problem in Italy is that all the teams are in violence. In France, only Paris is very delicate. Marseille and Nice are violent just during derbies.

But, I'm sure that it's a problem of society in Italy...

Last weekend a 5th devision game in Leipzig was the locale for hooligans who injured several people during and after the game between 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig and Erzgebirge Aue. One police man became seriously injured.

Now all games for the following weekend have been canceled by the Saxon Football Association.

I think it's the right decision. The pictures on television were horrible...

If football becomes the camouflage of murder desire, this sport is soon coming to its end.
