Are there any Coldplay songs you just never really got into, like ones that everyone else seems to love but you just don't get all the hype?

 

For me it's "How You See the World" and "Trouble". its not that i dont like them, i like all of their songs and i never skip any, but i never really got the big deal.

Fix You, Speed of Sound (except when someone talks about the bass line), and Yellow.

 

For just some reason I'm not into any of the singles except Don't Panic, Shiver, and GPASUYF

I liked speed of sound originally, but after the album came out, it was one of my least favorite tracks.

And I'm sorry, but I skip through most of Parachutes. :confused: I Skip the songs between Trouble and Everything's Not Lost. And I skip Sparks too.

I find reasons to enjoy all their songs but I do skip songs that I'm just never in the mood for. Songs like Sparks, Shiver, Politik, In My Place, SITS... they don't really represent any of the reasons I like to listen to their music.

 

I guess I'm just more into their truly defining songs like.. I don't know.. AROBTTH, Low, Don't Panic, Yellow, Trouble, Clocks, White Shadows... those songs just make the band for me.

 

I don't listen to daylight off the album but live its a whole different story. Especially at during the outro where Johnny and Chris go through their match-up: Johnny's slide vs. Chris' lala's.

Yellow for me...sorry...It's a good song, and I don't skip it, but I had to hear non-singles before I fell in love with them. After I bacame a fan of the band, I found I liked Yellow more,lol.

Anyway, I like all Coldplay songs. Sometimes it changes. For instance I'll start liking one song more than the rest and I'll download a bunch of different mp3s of the same song like see you soon. I just love it. I would say the song that I don't seem to get all crazy about is Til kingdome Come.. althought I loved it when they played it live..:confused:

its hard to say really because all the songs that chris wrote they are very intense..

 

but i think brothers and sisters

no more keeping my feet on the ground

bigger stronger but i like the music of this song!

especially when they played at bizarre festival in germany in 2000.
