I love this show. My favorite character is that blonde captain Zap Branigan or something. The lobster guy, Dr. Zoidberg, he's funny too.

This show is very very very funny. I just saw an episode over the weekend that cracked me up! :lol:

futurama was canceled because it had a shitty time slot to begin with (7 pm sunday), then was constantly getting pre-empted by baseball and football so it was only on sporadically. basically it was never really given a good chance. :shrug:

 

i think i remember that dave matthews line, wasn't it some all-knowing being who was answering all of fry's questions and said "and no, the dave matthews band does not rock." :lol:

hey im with you! i stopped watching the simpsons (the new ones), but i never miss futurama

yea, the new simpsons are bad. Futurama is way better now. Too bad it was cancelled. The best was when Leelah was talking to Zap about her having to go on a mission.

 

Zap "Leelah if it will help you, I'll be willing to send wave after wave of humans to die in your attempt. AM I RIGHT MEN?"
