Can't say I have never watched an episode of Scrubs, however I might rent some.

Im bringing this thread back because Scrubs is back!

 

Series finale tonight at 8 or 8:30 (I cant remember) on NBC

BTW: That's eastern time, so different in other places...

I'm on my couch. Luckily, I got called off work, so I'll be there.

 

So sad, though I'll be honest...I watch it reruns more than I watch it on Thursdays.

 

Also, a pretty killer soundtrack. Anyone want a giant folder of songs from the first and third season/series?

^Yeah, I too watch the reruns more, but the new episodes are pretty good.

Its not. There was a rumor the writers would leave but theyd get new writers and continue it, but it turns out those were false. The show ends tonight on NBC, and even if it does come back somehow it wont be with the same writers, so it wouldnt be Scrubs as we know it.

For anyone who wathced the finale, what did Dr. Cox say at the very end? I couldnt understand him, and its the last thing to be said on the show (maybe).

What did he say to Jordan at the very end?

i didn't hear it either cuz my mom wouldn't shut up, but my friend said that cox said "thats all i'm gunna tell you"

Hmm. That might be it, if anybody definately heard it Id like to know for sure. I also cant belive how lame the ending was. JD and Elliot in fairytale world decide to be just friends and it never shows what happens to them for real. Its so dumb they just walk away and neither of them have anyone else (Kim and JD are done, so are Elliot and Keith). I cant believe such an awesome show could have such a poor ending, I guess the writers just started sucking after season 6 ended.:confused:

huh.. did I miss something ? how come Kelso's back on that season finale ? I thought he resigned from his job ? :thinking: I might've missed an episod..

 

and is it me or that finale was AWFUL !?! sometimes funny but not as much as it should've been.. I was like : wtf, is that it ?? SERIOUSLY !!

 

About season 8, I've been reading stuffs from fans on the Internet and most of them are pretty sure there will be another one.. based on what Braff said on his blog. So they better raise the bar after that bad bad last episod..

^ Agreed. That was a terrible finale. How the hell did Kelso magically become Chief of Medicine again. You didnt miss and episode, he just somehow was back at the job. What a pitiful ending to such a great show.:\

Well, hopefully once the show moves to ABC in 2009 there will be new life infused into the show. I agree that the finale was sub-par, mediocre at best. Ever since the writer's strike I have felt like sitcoms are just "going through the motions", so to speak. Scrubs is no exception.

ok so Kelso coming back was just nonsense ! they just needed him to come back for the last episod and didnt come up with a better idea... :dozey:

I know I feel bad but it's the only way for me to see American TV shows without waiting years.. lol

 

and woow !! you're so far behind ! that episod was from the middle of season 6.
