7 seasons.. the last one only got 11 episods

I don't have a link at my disposal, but I know for sure that ABC has picked up Scrubs for an 8th season. Technically, ABC has owned Scrubs all along but shopped it to NBC when they couldn't find room on their own schedule or some shenanigans like that.

 

And as far as the season finale went, yes, it was aired out-of-order. I believe it was SUPPOSED to air as the episode before Kelso leaves the hospital for good, who would explain why he's magically chief of medicine again, but then NBC decided to use it as the season finale, continuity be damned.

^ Agreed. It's the only episode of "Scrubs" that makes my cry like a little girl whenever I see it.

Cool piece of trivia: When the show was first being written, Dr. Cox was supposed to be just like Dr. Kelso. Both were supposed to be complete bad guys and neither would have any type of soft side. As the show was first being made they decided they liked the idea of Dr. Cox really being good underneath but never showing it.

Aw. Even though Dr. Kelso is a bad guy I can't hate him. He's just so cute! He reminds me of a little troll or something! I know thats weird but, he does!

 

Remember the episode when Carla, Turk and Kelso played that trick on Dr. Cox where they made him thing Turk performed unnecessary surgery on that guy? I just LOVE when they come clean to Cox and Turk calls out Kelso. That grin on his face as he was jogging down the hall cracked me up!
