The thing about How We See The World that's so amazing to me is that other than me getting the idea on my own, all of it was made completely by total strangers, and it still came together so beautifully. So, I was curious if anyone on here has ever met face to face at a show or something. It would probably make for some cool stories.

 

If people meet in the future, they could post it here too.

 

I never met anyone, but I did get a call from Mark when he was trying out free on-line long-distance,lol.:lol:

ive meet Gabor (Whisper19) when i was in Hungary in August, we talk alot on msn and i can honestly say that it was one of the most fun days i have ever had. i wish i could meet all coldplayers... but that's impossible i guess.

It took me a long time to realise that I actually knew Briggins in real life, though. That was a weird moment...

Closest I've come is being within a few hundred feet of indiepixie and Reilly at football things (Owen signing, and Reilly at any Newcastle game last season when he was a steward). But I didn't meet them, I didn't know they were there at the time.

It was very weird to talk on the phone to some coldplayers for the first time :freak:

Yeah no doubt. There's a handful of people from here I'd love to meet. It's a big difference saying that and actually getting to do it. Specially considering one of the top two people I'd like to meet lives in America, and the other Germany.

Its so strange, its like we all actually develop friendships off of here, and we haven't ever met, even though, in real life, its not to clear if your really friends or not, as you haven't ever met, my friends would think I'm weird for talking to strangers on line and telling them about my day. But sometimes I feel like I would rather tell my boardie friends, because you don't really judge, and if you do, it doesn't matter all that much, because its not like they are relevant in your life, as long as you don't make them.

 

Sometimes, I feel like phoning many of you up, and chewing the fat, or hanging out. Then I remember, I don't really know you, haha.

 

I wish I was better at explaining what I mean.

i haven't met anyone from this board but i have found people i think are pretty great and if we were to meet would most likely hit it off, but at the same time i think it's wonderful how i don't know anyone on here really but i we talk as if we're all living a few houses away lol.

i think the only person i have most chance meeting is carole [vertigo caz] (btw where the hell are you?) since she lives in Aus, same goes for other aussies i suppose but special mention goes to her since she has started to like mewwwww :wacko: lol

And I think its made me more rounded when it comes to other peoples cultures, because I and the majority of you have talked about our regions, and all that.

I likey to learn about the rest of your customs, and countries.:D

Mooseheads fan is one of my best friends. So yes I have met a few.

 

 

 

If I ever travel to a country where some awesome coldplayers live I will probably try to meet in person.

It's interesting hearing everyone's accents on the CD...and realizing that to them, I'm the one with the strange accent,lol. I feel connected more to other parts of the world because people on here make them seem more 'real' to me.:)
