Probably when faced with a list of favorites, alot of people just listed the things they were into at that moment. So new stuff is going to be ranked higher, because it was added to peoples playlists most recently and won't have come off again yet.

^^ too true. i didn't even have bloc party awitc when this started, but since i've just discovered them and loving their stuff with constant listening, they made #7 on my list.
