Classic TV...

Featured Replies

I know at least a couple of us on here like some old tv shows. What are your faves? Who are your favorite characters? WHat was your favorite episode of a show? Here's the place to gab.

My faves were probably Happy Days, BAttle Of The Planets, and god help me...Little House On The Prairie, lol.:embarassed:

EDIT: I have to admit to liking Star Trek too...OMG, why did I start this thread, lol.

Great thread.

My favorite is probably All In The Family and my favorite EP was when they were talking about how women are the only ones that can pick up a chair with there back streight (spelling).

And other fav is M.A.S.H. and Good Times.

I used to like heaps of shows..but they are all now cancelled.

Ummm MacGyver springs to mind..oh and Baywatch was good too...:P:P oh and also the A-Team!

^Never liked Babewatch much, but I LOVE A-Team. And Miami Vice, lol.

Happy days! and star trek whoa! i remember i used to watch those tv shows when i was 7 or 8 haha, good memories

The Prisoner was BRILLIANT, btw!

I love it, every day when I'd come home from school I'd watch it at 4:00. Now they're showing The Saint, or something that I haven't bothered watching.

McGyver... i love this!

It even made me wanted to learn much about chemistry. LOL

The A-Team

I like the sick one who's always in the hospital, what's his name?

The Huxtables (i hope i spell it right)

It's about a happy and funny family, how can I not like it? :D

MacGyver, Happy Days, M*A*S*H, Get Smart, I Dream of Genie...

Ahhhh...Get Smart!! *trips over chair* I meant to do that!

Baywatch was the tv show of my youth. Me and my school mates used to spend all the afternoons in the kindergarten's playground playing characters from Baywatch... :laugh3:

^ that's cute.

...

mork and mindy, happy days, family ties, MASH, i love lucy (a fav), the wonder years and colombo. i remember a few others but nothing i really liked. of those, happy days and i love lucy were my favs :nice:

THE PRISONER!!! Such a great show. I used to watch it with my dad when I was little. It's warped me for life- I've never been able to find anything quite like it again (though Lost would have done it if it had been a mini series), and I've spent most of my life looking.

It's really funny because Patrick McGoohan looked like my dad when they were both younger, and number 6 acted alot like my dad- logical, anti-social, and a dry sense of humor- so they've always sort of been jumbled up together in my head in the "if my dad were a superhero, he'd be number 6" sort of way. Random.

Anyway, great show. Not enough people know about it.

(edit)

I like The Prisoner.

And I watch a lot of old game shows from the 70's.

:shocked2: Someone else has heard of it! I'm in awe.

I'm too young to participate in this thread. ;) Well 18 isn't too too young. But I've never really been a big TV watcher.

Scrubs is thee best show on television, I could watch it all day, everyday.

That's what reruns are for.

^ quite true Erin, i'm only 20 and most of the classics i've listen i've seen from re-runs.

I don't even have cable.:\

That would do it.

...Although it was actually the CBC that I first saw The Prisoner and the original Star Trek on...

Mc Gyver... omg, that was so good. I was always stunned how he was able to do sth great with nothing... :laugh3:

Bewitched... even if it's older than I am, I used to watch it when I was young, it was aired. I really liked it too. it was nice, and sometimes really funny.

I always liked the mother of Samantha... she always made me cracking up when she picked on her son-in-law.

21 Jump Street I remember I watched this, cos my aunt was watching it. I don't remember many many things... Wasn't there someone who's famous now who played a role in that show?

K2000, Knight Rider... There was a car, so guess how I felt when I watched this... I really liked the car (Pontiac TransAm, if I recall correctly... ) and all the functions it had... omg, I wanted that car so much when I was young...

Dragon Ball Z, and most of the mangas of those days were some of the things I watched a lot.

The Prisoner? Just came out?

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Prison Break?

The Prisoner was an old 60s series about a kidnapped former spy. It was released on DVD recently, but it originally aired in 1967

hmmm... is this the show when an elder man finds himself in a strange village when everyone's guarded by a Big Brother and he wants to find a way to escape?
