Not only Girlfriend: Lavigne´s new album "The Best Damn Thing" is inmature. It´s now more Hilary Duff-ish. I used to like Avril because of her rock persona, but this annoys me.

Not exactly. When you say punk star, do you mean musically, or just because of her personality? Girlfriend is not very rock/punk. It´s more Pop rock/Pop punk. Also, Lavigne is not a good role model for people, IMO.
