rammstein is probably the best industrial band out there, together with NIN

so they are industrial? that be totally new concept for me, someone can please explain me that? (origins of industrial music?)

they sound like a mix of first electronica and metal to me  (ok just checking few songs yet)... but sound like  kraftwerk and any metal band.

I love Rammstein.

Pretty much every song, apart from Nebel and En Leid.

Stein Um Stein is amazing, each record is good though...

cannot wait for new material!

garbage?

really?

I would have to disagree.

Lyrically, maybe, yes - English translations tend to be not the greatest.

However, if you are up for trashing just a little to something you can't really understand, I would recommend Rammstein.

It's not that they are bad, look at hose successful they are, and they do put on a good live show

All sounds like noise to me................................... :dozey:

Their lyrics maybe are ... 'strange' to some people - and I talk about the German lyrics, the English ones are, yeah, I just listened to Engel in English and found it horrible ;) - but I think their lyrics are interesting. At least you can't listen to Rammstein without thinking about the lyrics if you are able to understand German. Mark probably disagrees with me (surprise ) but in my opinion the German lyrics have a certain degree of poetry in them. Dark poetry, but still.

So I like them and my friend absolutely loves them. :P

Has nothing whatsoever to do with what language they're singing in, as the "noise" drowns out most of the lyrics anyway............................... ;)

Why do you give a shit what other people listen to? What fucking difference does it make to you? Oh it doesn't? You're just a bellend?

Who dredged up this garbage again??:dozey:

*full of garbage dirt*

oh that one was me.

i don't check live shows of bands i get into.... i just wanted to check them and was wondering what other people thought and so which albums they would recommend me to.... so thanks to that's i've got to know what "industrial" music is. ;) and from what i've checked... it mostly is electronica+heavy guitar, so lyrics are not their worry really, just in case they talk about something obscure (intentionatelly)... anyways i don't speak german so i don't know what they say.

oh poetry in it? :wideeyed: as i've said to william, from what i checked those kind of lyrics are the usual lyrics for the genre (i guess, as i've said i don't speak german so i don't know what they really say) they are clasified in (industrial metal),

I would never thought metal would have had so many sub-genres.

thank you! Technicolor! :D

and well, yes it may be noise, but it is well put together, i might say

and well, yes it may be noise, but it is well put together, i might say

right that.

someone should revise those music concepts

sound, music, noise.

just a quote i remember... while someone was giving an interview backstage.

interviewer: oh sorry i hope listeners can hear us well among all that noise.

musician: well that noise you say, is what we call music.

they make that "noise" intentionatelly.

Intentional or unintentional, the result is the same.............................;)

Rammstein is a good band. Gives me tons of energy when I listen to them :wacky:

currently i like the result, intentionally or not. ;)

anyways then why to post if you don't like it?

if i don't like some topic discussed i even don't care to post there.

That's your prerogative.

it's entertaining and gets ones perspectives out there

but yes, noise may be Rammstein but Rammstein is music to me
