Maybe they will just post old Christmas greetings.

I'm expecting something new though!

I hope so too. I don't see why they wouldn't.

It would be so cool if they left their CHristmas greeting til the very last minute, and then surprised us all with the release date. It may not happen since they're so busy, but it would be sweet!

^that would be my dream, tracie.

i LOVE chris's rendition of "have yourself a merry little christmas." it gives me goosebumps every time i hear it.

^It's gorgeous. (the musician in me has to point out that he actually gets some of the words and a couple of the chords wrong, lol, but it's still charming.):)

Does he? Aww, I have no speakers...*runs off to find headphones*

I think he did another recording for a radio station, yes, he did, I'll see if I can find it...

ohhhhhhhhhh i almost like that one better! (i think this is the one they recorded on their first time in america!!)

can someone PLEASE PLEASE rip it? if i knew how i totally would, but i dont :(

thanks so mcuh for posting that, emma!

How do the people in the USA celebrate Christmas ?

You got snow ?

You got Santa?

Presents?

Because in Holland we don't do much with christmas :(

We do all that. But we don't have Black Pete.:D (And it's a good thing...I'd have a lot of coal in my stocking if we did, lol.)

New Star!

The 2006 Christmas Message (not really surprising :P)

Hysterical! Can there be any doubts that a new Christmas message will be posted next?? Post it already fellas!!!

gahh, for a second after i went to their page, i didnt read the "2006" part carefully enough and got all excited and then...i realized it was LAST years.

this has GOT to mean that 2007's is next.

...doesnt it? :\

Haha, this is a fun question to answer.:D Well, Christmas where I live is usually a fusion of santa claus and baby Jesus. It's not uncommon to see reindeer and wisemen on the same tree.

My mom is German so unlike most families, we do what is supposed to be the german tradition of unwrapping all the presents on the night of christmas eve. (most families have kids wake-up early on the morning of christmas day and unwrap presents then).

I'm not that familiar with most european christmas traditions (other than it's supposedly illegal to eat meatpies in london on christmas). But in the states christmas is basically a time for giving presents and enjoying the holidays as a family (holiday ham, singing christmas carols, etc.) I'm sure that while the details may change, the basic idea stays the same around the globe.

Oh yeah, I live in Tennessee and we only ever get snow one or two days a year (if even that, sometimes). Merry Christmas!

Yay! 2007 please!

I wonder whether the message will contain some album news. I doubt it.

Does anybody know what that last song/sample played in the 2006 Christmas message is from (the one to which the band "plays")? I get the feeling it's supposed to be part of one of their new songs.

ummm...it's "in my place." :D

I love when Guy is spinning...isn't that strange, a matter of days after I trick some people into thinking it was the new message and Coldplay start teasing us with the old one... Maybe they stole my idea...

:laugh3:

maybe they're onlineeeeee

I don't know:uhoh:
