Taormina, Sicily is home to the Teatro Antico, which hosts concerts in July each year. Maybe Coldplay are having a look around to decide whether or not they'll be playing there this summer? Very interesting... Or maybe they're there for the sun or Guy's birthday celebrations. Looks like a beautiful place

It does look like a beautiful place!

They probably went for a holiday to get away from the pressure of having finally released a date and tracklisting.

I remember Chris saying (probably more than once) about previous albums how this was always the most stressful time for him, when he can't do anything about it but wait.

 

..and it just happens to be Guy's birthday...so maybe it is for both occasions.

It did cross my mind, but I was basically arguing the point you made (as an english band they should include the U etc etc). Thats a good idea though! Its the best explanation I can think of :D

What makes you think the band is there? Just because Prospekt is there doesn't mean the band is there.

well well well, ladies and gentleman, we finaly got the tracklist and prospekt also said that the band is going to release at least one single before the release date, so we might get a song by may. And it looks like the title is not "viva la vida or death and all his friends", maybe prospekt meant before that it was either "viva la vida" or "death and all his friends".
