All radiohead cds are really cheap here now. (around $8, which is more than half price off the regular).

So about £4.10 for a CD.

Here's a question. If the band are so up-tight about climate change and all that, then why are they using the standard jewel case instead of a more modern environmental friendly case made from less plastic?

Man there are alot of greedy people and alot of messed up shit going down with this album.

Like at Virgin Megastores they are selling discboxes for $100 even though the band was selling them for $80.

And then the whole HMV thing in Canada with them going on the shelves and then being pulled because apparently wal-mart threatened to sue them. A friend of a friend almost got fired because of it.

 

And then you have EMI making up all this stuff to. Its sad how greedy people can be.

I think there were just fakes used, so when you buy a copy you go to the customer service desk to collect the actual little box, I think it's down to security as they couldn't find anything to go on the actual box without damaging it.

They disappeared from this country a few weeks ago, but if they want to sell the limited edition boxes they are within their rights to. Why would Wal-mart sue hmv for selling a cd?

I'm not sure, thats just what my friend told. Something about walmart having some sort of deal for distribution in Canada.

We don't have any virgin record stores here. I just saw on atease that they were selling them there in the US.

Would be strange if Walmart had the exclusive distribution deal and HMV ending up with stock if they can't sell it.

You could get order it from HMV and pay over the odds for international shipping, or you can ask someone nice from the UK to order it, then ship it on to you ;)

:) Yeah I'll have to chose on of those two options. If HMV here can't ship it, or if it costs way too much I'll try and find somebody nice from the UK to ship it haha.
