November 4, 200817 yr Well you can't be defined into "gay" or "straight" it's really not as simple as that, I normally say I am "fairly straight" it's ambiguous enough to make people think and to cover my several man-crushes. This is also something I am really interested in, what makes someone homosexual and someone else not? I am of the opinion that it is somehow in your genes as you don't really make a conscious choice about it, you just feel the way you do. I was talking to someone about it though and they thought it would be a bad thing if they figured out why people are a certain sexuality, I thought that was a ridiculous thing to think at first, but then he made a very good point. If they can find out what "causes" it then maybe they can figure out how to stop people being attracted to either gender and that is most certainly not a good thing Wow, I haven't thought about that. And yeah, I guess I'm not 100% gay because I've been attracted to women before (usually CNBC anchors... talking about stocks is hot). I think if they came up with a "cure" for homosexuality I would seriously consider taking it. But by that time hopefully society would be ambivalent about it.
November 4, 200817 yr Supposedly studies have shown that scientists can figure out a baby's sexual orientation at or before birth. Something either genetic or brain related. Don't know the details, but I remember hearing something of that nature.
November 4, 200817 yr You don't like being gay? Is that because of prejudice that you've experienced yourself? I can't say I've ever been witness to true homophobia, I imagine it's a horrible thing though. I think society is becoming more and more accepting, but it's sickening to me personally that people would discriminate because of sexuality.
November 4, 200817 yr Wow that's interesting, I've never heard of a straight guy who doesn't care much about boobs. I'm straight and I don't go "ga-ga" over breasts. I don't know what makes a woman attractive to other people, but to me their personality has to something I can connect with before I can really be physically attracted to someone. But breasts aren't some huge important thing that determines if I like a girl or not.
November 4, 200817 yr Completely agree, personality is probably the most attractive thing about a person

November 4, 200817 yr Completely agree, personality is probably the most attractive thing about a person :smug:Nice to meet someone else who isn't obsessed with women's bodies nicely said, but you obviously wouldnt like a woman without breastWell, maybe not. I mean, physical attraction of course is important, but it's by far NOT the most important thing.

You've automatically limited your potential dating pool to 2% of the population. And I haven't experienced discrimination because I'm not out of the closet except to a few of my closest friends. But I'm sure I would if I came out to my family.

Oh I see, yeah that makes sense, I guess. But I think your own personal preferences would limit your dating pool anyway, but I guess that makes it even harder to find you perfect gay partner. I don't even think you have to "come out", you shouldn't have to really, it's not information that is vital to know about someone. Are your family conservative about that sort of thing? That would be a bit nightmarish.
November 4, 200817 yr Yeah I don't plan on coming out to them. They're conservative Christian rightwingers. Basically the glue that holds society together ;) I already have a boyfriend, though. So it would never work out between us, HorrificAttack, because you're too far away. :P
November 4, 200817 yr Hahaha. Back to the topic, I think mens' fascination with breasts, might have something to do with breast feeding, but I read it's because you want the woman to be able to feed your child with her milk and if she has large ones she can give your child a lot of milk and keep your child healthy

Because women have to keep them covered, it's almost like "forbidden" so it might make men want it more. You don't see women going crazy over a guy's nipples, because a guy can take his shirt off in public.
November 4, 200817 yr Cos God and Jesus said it was wrong. I'd like to see the quote form the Bible where it specifically says "Jesus is anti-homosexual." I'd also like proof that the Bible is actually the word of God, and not the word of men who were "led by God"

That's the thing I don't get about Christian-Conservatives...not trying to offend anyone, but if they are so concerned with love and peace and spreading religion, why are they so against anyone that might be different (gay people, Jewish people, etc.)? Well Christians are primarily against violence. So they move on to the next best thing: guilt-tripping everyone who disagrees with them. ;)

November 4, 200817 yr Jesus said something like "a man who lays with another man should be stoned" It's things like this that make me unable to comprehend religion. Why base your own beliefs based on something a man may or may not have said 2,000 years ago? If anything, make a region based on Gandhi or Nelson Mandela, men you can PROVE said certain things.
November 4, 200817 yr The best thing about Jesus for me, is the mistranslation of the word for "Young Girl" into "Virgin" that incompetent translator fucked up quite severely

You don't see women going crazy over a guy's nipples, because a guy can take his shirt off in public. Shirtless guys can be hot, even though it's not forbidden. But I think you might be on to something about society hiding stuff. I remember seeing TV ads when I was young that emphasized women sexually, and it got to the point where it bored me. Or maybe I was bored with it to begin with...? But there was something more intriguing about men. Maybe it was the fact they weren't prancing around exposing as much skin as possible.

I mean, there's no real difference between a girl's breasts and her shoulders or back or something, but because they don't have to cover up those parts, they're less noticed by most men. I'm curious about what the deep sexual feelings are for most men in areas of the world where women have to be completely covered except for their eyes. I wonder if that makes any difference on what they find attractive. Or even better - the music messiah Chris Martin!!:P I could see a Martin/Bono religion:D
November 4, 200817 yr It just occurred to me why this thread's title was so funny to me: Deal... or no deal? And then the fat guy chooses "no boobs" and ends up with a dollar.
November 4, 200817 yr It makes me think of an entirely new game show in which contestants are show pictures and have to identify if boobs are on display or not. With the bonus round "Fake or Natural"
