coldplay is still a great band, and has the potential to come back better than before, atleast redeem themselves after the release of x&y but best band of mine overall...not anymore. sigur ros is definitely up there though :blush:

My tastes have broadened and changed since I first started listening to Coldplay. They'll always have a special place in my memory and heart, but I wouldn't say they are my absolute favorite band anymore either. I do however still consider myself a big fan, and I'm anxious for the next release! :nice:

Two way tie for me... Radiohead and Coldplay, but for very different reasons.

I said someone else, but that's not entirely true. Coldplay is one of my favorites, but they're not my one and only absolute favorite like they were a couple of years ago. Right now, my favorite is The Porcupine Tree...dumb name, great band,lol.

I think no matter how many other bands come along in my life that I absolutely adore, nothing can replace Coldplay. The band changed my life and it's because of them that I'm alive. So they hold a really special place in my heart.

You'd think being a female singer myself that I'd like female singers, but I'm not a big fan either. You've really got to be something special to amaze me. I'm not even a big fan of my own voice, even though I consider myself a good singer,lol. (Mandyleigh, if you're reading this, you're one of the few I like...right up there with Kate Bush!:))

I've been a fan of Coldplay for about 8 years now and that's longer than any other band i like. I absolutely adore them and their music and they will always hold a special place in my heart. I don't think any other band's music makes me feel quite like theirs does, although i have to say, Muse come pretty damn close!
