Same here. I couldn't live with the bedroom being messy..

Although some people are fine with living in a pig sty!

^ It's not a pig-sty, it's just really lived-in!

My side of the room is quite messy but my younger sister who I share my room with is much neater... My sister and I have a lot of stuff so it's hard to find a place for everything but also it's just laziness on my part. I usually have a week or so worth of clean lothes I need to put away, various little things that I can't find space for I tend to put next to my bed.. I can only get out of bed on one side now! One of my older sisters gets married on the 21st of this month though so after she leaves I get my own room :) and hopefully that means that it will be less messy.

I do try to clean my room sometimes, though! It's just that even after I've cleaned it it still looks messy :(

well said

What a perfect thread for my current situation:

I have my own room in Bonn (well with a small cooking corner and stuff....) so everything's in one room.....and booo I'm sooo messy,...but today I started tidying up and cleaning it....it looks much better right now but I've not finished yet...

My biggest messy room problems are:

A). Putting clean clothes away

B). Putting dirty clothes in the laundry

C). Keep CDs from covering every surface in my room

D). I always have a large pile of books/magazines around my bed since I read for a while everynight before I go to bed.

I have those problems too. I have a chair in the corner of my room which i tend to pile clothes i've just taken off onto, then when it starts mounting up i have to sort it out and either put the clothes away or put them in the laundry basket to be washed.

I'm also always running out of space to put stuff. I have a pile of magazines on my floor by my bed which i don't want to chuck out cos they're ones i'm collecting, but i don't have anywhere else to put them! Other than that i actually consider myself not too messy, although i don't often dust my room cos i have too many ornaments to move :uhoh:

my room has been messy forever :P I haven't exactly had time to clean it... unless you count the time I take talking to my friends :freak: :freak: :freak:

^^Can you even move in your room? :stunned:

Seeing as I had to stay in pretty much all day, waiting for a man to come with some tickets, I decided to have a crack on tidying my room, mainly the cupboard which was full of old cardboard boxes/college work/general rubbish and an old dvd player.

So after an hour and a half, where 15 minutes of that was spent destroying said old dvd player which was broken (it was one of those old tesco dvd players, which were rather big and empty inside), my bedroom is slightly less messy.

Well not really, my room is still a mess with too much stuff in it.

making reports and homework for school = messy floor, messy room. and messy mind of course :\

Schoolwork tends to make my basement around my computer messy.

I probably shouldn't show you this...but this is mine at it's worst! It's about halfway there now :S

Don't judge me :P

Haha yup. I'm sooooooooooo lazy, where I work (or used to) I run around like a mad thing and then when I get in I just cannot be arsed. So I throw things on top of things and then that happens. Is awful.

Then I'll tidy it (which takes daaaaaaaaaaays) and it'll look wonderful, but it'll be messy again in no time :P

I shall attach a pic of my tidy room, just so you know I don't always live like that.

:) pretty. neat. but you surely do have lots of things in your bedroom ... no wonder it gets messy soon. :)

Yeah that was ages ago, last time I did it I chucked loads of stuff out. Is getting messy again now though. Might do it tomorrow :idea2:

Mimi your room is cute!!

heh, well i'm kind of a neat-freak ...my dorm room at uni is quite clean, especially compared to my room at home. my room at home is clean, i suppose, but i havent really redecorated it since i was 13 or so besides just sticking new stuff on the walls in addition to everything that was already there, so the walls are kind of an explosion and no white space is showing. this summer, after having a tidy poster collection at uni, i plan to completely redecorate :P

this is my half of the room at uni, though there are a few more posters on the wall now...one of john lennon, a shaun of the dead one, a hot fuzz one, and more barack obama posters :D
