OMG!!!!!! I'll be there for sure! I so hope it's true!

A proper UK tour would be nice instead of the usual 5 or 6 arenas again. Surely they miss playing the smaller venues? Maybe not. What do I know.

Quite alot actually!

heres a translation of the great news (I LOVE TOUR NEWS!!)

British training Coldplay would give a show at opening of the Summer festival of Quebec, on July 3rd of this year, to an information brought back by network VAT on Monday evening.

Show will take place on the Lowlands of Abraham. The details of the contract would be shortly finalized, always according to VAT. The Summer festival must confirm news in some days.

Quite alot actually!

You're too kind lol. I know how to spell Coldplay and that's it really. I dreamt they were playing at a holiday camp the other week. It was bizarre. I got really close to the front. They were playing God Put A Smile Upon Your Face :D

I wish I was a fan back in the day when they played little clubs and universities. I'd wet my knickers if they did that again, with excitement of course. Can't wait for them to tour again.

^^ yeah ! How could that would have been to see them playing in small rooms, pubs, clubs..etc.. cosy and intimate :nice:

and I cant wait to see them coming here

coldplay-cuarto.jpg

Además de los títulos que sirven para bautizar Viva la vida or death and all his friends, el nuevo compacto incluirá, entre otras piezas, Life in technicolor, Cementeries of London, Strawberry swing, Yes y Lovers in Japan / Reign of love.

UK dates are likely to be.

(off the top of my head)

Newcastle - Metro radio Arena.

Birmingham - NIA Arena

Manchester - MEN Arena

London - Emirates Stadium (I can dream :D)

Bolton - RBK Stadium.

can't think of anywhere else.

Newcastle for sure!!! I missed the last two bloody tours thanks to my holidays, now that im out of the control of my parents, im staying this year and camping for the tickets. they sold out in half an hour in 2005 in newcastle, i was gutted!!! Shame they wont play at St James Park though, Rod Steward sounded awesome from level 7 (i work there so i didnt necessarily pay the £50 for the ticket!)

^^

at least you guys in the UK are lucky in the sense that most of the gigs will be within an hours drive of where u live even if you miss out on your home town gig. down here in Aus if we miss out on our hometown gig the nearest gig is a 10hour drive.

and i soooo hope they play a small arena instead of a stadium. i would absolutely hate to see them in a massive venue even if it means that there will be more tickets available

Anyway, I don't think they'll give a concert in France this year. Probably in 2009 with some chance.

PLEASE COME TO DETROIT AT LEAST TWICE

:laugh3:

yeah ok i agree.

I hope they'll come to holland at the end of 2008 or something.. :)

Then I'm going to see them for the very first time hell yeah! :D

Ugh! All these festival dates, when are we gonna get some real tour dates!!!

Anyone have info on how an American can get tickets to the Plains of Abraham (Quebec) performance?

Anyone have info on how an American can get tickets to the Plains of Abraham (Quebec) performance?

the festival is still not confirmed for coldplay...

and from what i see on the festival website, tickets will only be available by the end of may

As long as they come somewhere in Massachusetts, I won't be disappointed.

I would prefer either Boston (I live less than 10 miles from Boston) or Amherst (where I go to college), but even if they chose somewhere like Worcester, Mansfield, or Lowell, that'd still be cool. Nowhere in Massachusetts is too far for me!

well I hope they come to mexico for the end of the tour again :D

You know these days when you're going to your favourite ticket website to get information about upcoming Coldplay concerts in your country? Well, I'm sure you do! So I just did it again and suddenly www.eventim.de says:

Chris Martin and his band are back finally! In June the long-anticipated new Coldplay album will appear - a tour is following. Sign-up now!

Well, nothing new honestly, but the hope grows that they're coming to Germany! :D
