every time you posted you got so many bling depending on the length of the post. also you were able to donate bling or use bling to gamble in the games section. it was really cool :)

oh yea, definitely. the reason it's not there is because the board went from one style forum to another (phpbb to vbulletin I think) because of the server. that sounds really nerdy :P

i miss bling...it was phased out soon after i came here though. i tend to post really long things, so i think id have a decent amount of bling if it was still around now.

I wonder how long 'Thanks' will survive, we are basically thanking people for the most useless posts...

yeah, i understood how you thanked someone, but i dont really get the point...

i think itll die off rather quickly because its not something automatically given like bling was. the fact that we have to click something for it to show up makes it rather useless IMO.

:laugh3: I don't know that you could say it's useless having to click a button, but it definitely isn't as cool as the bling. I think the bad feature about thanking people is that it's basically other people rating how useful or whatever a person's post is.

Yeah, I'd feel like a real outcast if I'd been here for two years and no one had thanked me, this 'thanking' thing is sure gonna start some outbursts...
